I had a wonderful time at the Hard Rock Hotel Maldives. Service was great with lovely staff who are friendly and cheerful. Loved the daily activities organised for guests that include aqua dance fitness and gym, morning jogs, cycling, mobility exercises, and evening events at the restaurants and bars

The restaurants and buffet are OVERPRICED if you do not have an inclusive package... and the portions are rather small...the only restaurants that were worth it are the celebrity chef ones i.e. Ministry of Crab (the best)
The view and overall resort / facilities is good and well maintained .
The best part about the experience is the STAFF ... Hats of to all of them for carrying the weight of the rest of the resort's shortcomings. They are all friendly and helpful ... I'll mention a few below who were superb ! :

The island is big and beautiful,
It’s not crowded at all even quite deserted at some places which gives you an absolute sensation of freedom and luxury,
The fact that you can travel around the island on a bike provided by the hotel is a great plus !
The beaches are gorgeous and the wildlife is present all around the island,
Even though the price is quite high, it’s an experience that I don’t regret…
It rained quite a bit when I was there, but the rains doesn’t take anything from the beauty of this place, I enjoyed my stay, thanks to all the team
Breakfast is quite good… but I would say that the other restaurants I tried on the island are a bit overpriced for the quality and quantity of the food… but that’s really the only negative point I can think of

A perfect experience~ Thank you to the hotel for upgrading us to a water house for free! It fulfilled our dream of living in a water house~

It was my first time in the Maldives. I highly recommend this hotel. The island is large, there is a beach and a pool, and there are many restaurants, so you won't have any problems finding a place to eat. You can also cycle around. There are events held every day, so you won't get bored even if you stay for a long time. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of items and was very delicious. It was only about 15 minutes by speedboat from the airport, so it was a really comfortable trip! There were staff who could speak Japanese, and they were very friendly and comfortable.
