Giuliana was an amazing host, helping us with ferry crossings to Salina, taxis, hire cars and local advice. A Alera is a stunning property with views of the sea from the lovely large balconies. The whole place was immaculate, breakfast was delicious especially her homemade cakes and jams. The rooms were beautifully decorated and had everything you'd expect and more, much more like a hotel than B&B. If you go be sure to visit Pollara for sunset and Papero for the ricotta granitas.

Proprietor Giuliana was very informative and helpful in making suggestions, arrangements, and bus schedule. Booked a deluxe double room which was small but had a shared balcony overlooking the sea. Location in Malfa was very good and we enjoyed our 3 day stay at the hotel and in Malfa. Rented a car for 1 day tour of the towns, took a boat tour (Salina Relax Boat) around the island, caper tour with Giuseppe and swam at Spiaggio dello Scario. We enjoyed the family restaurant, A Quadara, the food was delicious! Breakfast was continental and we enjoyed Giuliana's homemade bakery items.

We had a great stay at A’Alera, despite the unseasonably poor weather. We had the balcony apartment with a view and it’s worth paying extra for it. We were thoroughly looked after. Olesya was amazing - nothing was too much trouble. And the owner Giuliana drove us to a local winery when it was raining, and made fresh baked goods for breakfast. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Can only echo the other great reviews here. Immaculate B&B with dreamy views from the terraces. Booked direct on their website, very good value for money and they very kindly covered the cost of our arrival taxi from the port. Had a standard room - ours had no window except in the bathroom but the a/c temperature control worked very well as did everything in the room - first class. Loved waking up to the terrace flooded with morning sunlight. Breakfast is fine considering the price paid for the room and very good coffee. The owners gave us a 10% discount voucher for their restaurant in Malfa, A Quadara, which is well worth a visit.

An absolute dream of a B&B: beautiful house, fantastic rooms (very comfortable and clean), amazing views from the rooms as well as the various terraces (you can even see from your room small eruptions from Stromboli volcano at night). The wonderful staff was extremely friendly and warm, really making you feel at home as if staying with friends. Delicious breakfast served outside with magnificent sea views. Also worth mentioning is the excellent restaurant (5 minute walk from the B&B) owned by the same owners as the B&B; delicious meals; creative and with fresh ingredients only. If you love fresh seafood don't miss this place (also good veggie and meat options). Grazie mille, Guiliana and Paola !

Very beautiful designed Room and Breakfast Place. Modern stile with Éolien feeling, wonderful terrace to see Stomboli Island and See. International breakfast with all you will like. Very nice staff and owner team. I will always again going there at Malfa on Salina.

An excellent experience from every point of view. The view is absolutely magnificent. The structure is delightful. Very clean. The breakfast is excellent: homemade cakes and biscuits, fruit and everything you want. Kindness is at home. On foot you can reach Scario beach with a very pleasant walk. Truly a magical place. We spent three days in Salina and this place managed by Giuliana is perfect for visiting the various beaches. A stone's throw from the famous Scario beach (you can easily go on foot). Sublime view! When we arrived it was very hot and they welcomed us with a delicious tart and fresh water. Even on the day of departure, since we were leaving in the evening, he made a bathroom available to us for our final showers. Really cute! We will recommend it to our friends

Exceptional structure in all respects. Attention to the smallest details. Tidy, clean and architecturally pleasing room. Silent. I leave the room and find myself in the common courtyard where I can relax and have breakfast, with a breathtaking view of the port and Panarea. All just a stone's throw from the center and Punta Scario beach. Extremely professional and courteous staff. Highly recommended.

Peaceful and charming place in a typical island house. Breakfast facing the sea, with varied and super fresh fruits… the sound of the waves in the evening and the wind in the white sails…. A very sweet moment in this B&B. The only thing missing was the swimming pool!
