Good service, good location

Our room had a great ocean view and it was such a relief to open the balcony doors every morning. The overall facilities of the hotel really need to be updated and improved, the service staff is very friendly, and the food is basically okay. The sound of music will be around 11.30 every night, which is not very friendly for those who are used to going to bed early. For what I paid for the room, I couldn't ask for more. Overall satisfied.

Won't allow me to give all detailed. Male receptionist threatened my 14 year old autistic son and we left and flew home within 4 hours at resort. Lost so much money and no refund. Hotel won't take responsibility for these staff being aggressive towards families and kids Stay clear we might as well have threw £1700 away

Just got home from a week at the Planamar. Yes the hotel is dated but we found it to be fine. The rooms were cleaned every day and if we wanted fresh towels we just left the dirty ones in the bath. We had a pool view and had the luxury of a sea view too. The walls are thin but they are not unlike any other hotel. We stayed all inclusive. The food was mostly the same but you have a daily change to one of the mains. We found the food perfectly edible and nice. One downside is it wasn’t as hot as we would like so 30 seconds in the microwave and it was done. The drinks were good too. Estrella on draft and local spirits. Cocktails from a machine. The drinks were made very strong at times. The location is perfect close to everything you need. There was some late night noise but this was out of the hotels grounds. All the staff were brilliant and worked really hard. Overall don’t expect the ritz it is a 3 star and a good one too.

Stayed all inclusive for a eeek had a balcony over looking pool and beach and 2nd balcony over side street rooms basic food average didn’t like the set times for meals especially tea at 8:20 only went on once next door hotel very noises didn’t sleep sat night balcony doors are only single glazed it wasn’t as bad as reviews and what ppl say and was spotless clean.

Had an absolute brilliant time here. Hotel was lovely and clean. Food was really nice. Room had an amazing view we stayed in 309. All staff were warm friendly and welcoming. 2 staff stood out for us tho and that's the bar staff niomi and jarrard. These 2 were great. We didn't have to ask for our drinks they just knew and were sometimes pouring them before we got through the door. Both so friendly and professional and very good at making other guests laugh. They both deserve great credit. Thank you both. We have booked again in april.

AVOID!!!!! The rooms are awful the balcony unsafe, food is just horrific, bed unable to sleep in and the train noise is just unacceptable! We booked 9 nights here and left after 1 night and moved to another hotel! We are trying to get our money back as it’s truly awful hotel and could not spend 9 nights there, we had to pay for alternative accommodation. The night club is right next door and at 4.30am people leaving where shouting to our rooms to evacuate as there was a fire! Do not waste your time or money and never book with delta holidays!

The worst hotel I’ve been to! We’ve arrived at around 2am. The receptionist got us to email confirmation and then he was printing it off, also paid tax if I think around €7. The whole thing took about half an hour which is quite annoying as we were all wrecked after traveling most of the day, but that would be down to their outdated systems. When we got to the room I was quite shook. I’ve never seen a hotel room this bad I’m gonna pop up pictures below. The staff was simply useless- we had water dripping from our AC for the whole week and no hope of a room exchange or anybody to come in and have a look. A young man with a tattoo on his neck called me stupid after he was told that the TV does not work and told me if I was smart enough to change the batteries then it wouldn’t be a problem????? Food was disgusting, can’t take a fruit out of the canteen without being embarrassed by staff that stops you and screams at you to put the fruit down. So called “owner” that looks like a maintenance man is extremely rude. I will never ever recommend this hotel to anyone!! During our stay someone had a rat/mouse in the room and yet no help from staff. The only positive is the location but everything else is a joke. Maybe this hotel would qualify as 3* back in 1980s but not nowadays, it should be closed down. One socket per room, fridge didn’t work, paper thin walls and rooms very dirty.

we arrived at 10o/k we were told that our all inclusive don't start until 12 if want a drink we have to pay. the rooms were very outdated and the balcony was very narrow. the night manager very rude and impolite. tried to complain no joy. AVOID. The food 9/10 times cold and the buffet was a fridge with some sandwich's and a few cakes very poor the photo does not show how small the pool is. plus you were told when to eat you were given slots, (40 mins for breakfast, 1hr 30mins lunch and 40 mins for dinner. if i new about this i would not have booked.

Hotel is perfectly fin. Food is really good with different themes every night, never had a bad meal, same as lunch, breakfast is what you expect but still not bad. Staff are very attentive and happy to serve. Only negatives is how thin the bedroom walls are, apart from that this is definitely on the higher end of a 3 star hotel

Awful food. Needs review of mealtime system as last sitting food inedible and not much choice. Who wants to eat so late in the evening. Staff taking away items left on tables when going to fetch other items in the restaurant. Broken coffee machine so none available all day in bar area, and often not working in restaurant. 30euros for safe plus a 10euro deposit bit expensive and old fashioned key safe so you had to keep key with you. Fridge hardly cold at all. Curtain rotten and ripped when tried to close it. Rickety shutters and windows. No balcony table. Shower in middle of bath, very awkward to use. Hand basin blocked and reported but no one came to fix. Only 1 comfy seating area and seating dirty and old. Music around pool too loud and repetitive. Good things - location, garden and pool area.

My boyfriend and I just got home last night and had the most amazing time at the hotel! When we arrived we were given a wrist band to show we were all inclusive, had all the information given to us from the receptionist who were amazing, and friendly. Food the whole 10 days was amazing, room was clean and got cleaned everyday we requested, could get clean towels when we wanted. every night the main meal part was different but repeated chips, pasta and salad. one thing was the sound but we asked reception to let the room above us know they were being loud n and when they did it stopped the rest of the time we were there. the bar staff were my favourite! made us laugh every night, even one of them told my boyfriend they loved him and we laughed allot. the best holiday i have ever had and definitely rebooking it next year! thankyou htop hotels for an amazing holiday
