Wat een pracht van een hotel. Rustig gelegen. Op wandelafstand van het centrum. Mooie propere ruime kamers. Ook in de gangen was het kraaknet. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Heel vriendelijk personeel, meertalig en vlot meertalig. Een aanrader. Parking ondergronds (dat had men niet vermeld, wij dachten dat het boven was). Parking dus praktisch om in en uit te laden en met de lift direct naar het juiste verdiep. De wellness hebben we niet gebruikt. Ook niet gegeten in het hotel. Maar de bar was toppie.

Het hotel kreeg van ons prima beoordeling, echter... de vloer in wellness is superglad, ik gleed onderuit en brak mijn pols... bericht van receptie en hotelmanager dat zij hiervoor niet aansprakelijk zijn en niet verzekerd zijn. Spijtig om zo te moeten vertrekken.

À 15-18 minutes de Botrange / Mont Rigi / Baraque Michel. MY Hotel est sobre, très épuré, style béton lisse tout en cube, il faut s'y faire mais on s'y fait rapidement. Les lieux sont bâtis sur l'ancien site de la papeterie Steinbach, en bordure de la Warche, et qui demandent, côté parking, quelques aménagements botaniques afin d'embellir les alentours qui sont un peu tristounets. Sinon bel établissement en lui-même avec chambres confortables, sans chichis, très sobres mais spacieuses, avec terrasse pour notre part. Demander les chambres sud, vue sur Malmédy. Le restaurant est très bon, malgré une carte elle aussi épurée. Très bonne sélection des vins. Personnel serviable. Le petit-déjeuner, au même endroit, est copieux et là, pour le coup, c'est très diversifié. Une bonne adresse que nous recommandons.

Ik ben juist terug van een weekendje in dit hotel. Dit was niet ons eerste bezoek aan dit hotel. We komen hier graag omdat het hotel goed is gelegen. Op wandelafstand van het centrum van Malmedy en op 20 minuten rijden van Signal de Botrange. De bediening en de service is altijd hartelijk en vriendelijk. Is een mooi modern hotel met prachtige kamers. In 2021 waren we hier ook al geweest en toen was de hartelijkheid en vriendelijkheid van het personeel ook al zo goed. Het restaurant daarentegen is er erg op achteruitgegaan. De kwaliteit van het eten was de prijs niet meer waard. In 2021 was het eten er top. Nu tot mijn grote spijt niet meer. Om de steak door te snijden had je een kettingzaag nodig en vol pezen, zo taai en de bakwijze van de steak kwam niet overeen met wat we hadden gevraagd. Echt zonde van het geld dat we hier aan betaald hebben. Ook zou ik toch effe willen melden aan de kuisploeg dat haren in het bad van vorige gasten niet echt hygiënisch is en zeker niet in een suite. Ik hoop dat het hotel restaurant ooit terug top zal worden en het management meer controle gaat uitvoeren bij de schoonmaakploeg.

Mooi modern hotel, goed gelegen nabij Malmedy center en prima uitvalsbasis, gratis parking boven en ondergronds, de suite was leuk ingericht, nette badkamer met grote inloopdouche en degelijke bedden. Vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel aan het onthaal, bar en restaurant. Wegens tijdgebrek hebben we niet gebruik gemaakt van de wellness. Het hotel was vol geboekt en dat merkte we ook in het restaurant s’avonds als bij het ontbijt. De nieuwe seizoensmenu werd voorgesteld maar dit was een afknapper van formaat. Amuse was lepel kruidenkaas uit doosje met ??, het voorgerecht was geheel smaakloos en het rivierkreeftje was ??, het hoofdgerecht zalm met preipuree (pakje?) en de parelhoen was lekker maar de boschampignon(s) ontbrak en de pastinaak was ver overschroeid. De prijs/kwaliteit was er niet. Kortom was het de drukte of de kwaliteit van de keuken? Een bordje presenteren was ook niet aan de orde. Het ontbijt was goed al zou een uitgebreid assortiment van lokale charcuterie specialiteiten in 4* toch tot een minimum mogen behoren.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The check-in was perfectly implemented. As was checkout. The garage and bike garage were clean and easily accessible. The bike garage in particular was secure and very well equired with bike stands and charging points for E-Bikes. Our room was clean, fresh and modern with a nice balcony. Fridge was included but not so cold. The room was cleaned daily and staff were friendly. Buffet Breakfast was very good and we especially like the Waffle and Pancake Makers. We ate once in the restaurant and enjoyed our evening there too...again excellent staff and service throughout. Perhaps the plus point of having a bike garage could be improved by offering more to those guests with bikes - like bike maps and more information on the biking trails. We would come again and easily recommend to family, friends and colleagues!

Good: The property and immediate area is exquisite. There is a large parking garage and an excellent restaurant on site. Breakfast was very good each day with good quality food. The Hotel had some souvenirs for the area, as well as a wonderful outdoor space and small park. The room was nicely sized (large) and very comfortable. Bad: The area is not intended for walking and it could be more distant from shops and restaurants than expected. Also, while the local countryside is quite beautiful in places, the view from the hotel was nothing special in comparison.
