Hotels near Malmö Hyllie station, Malmo

Our recent stay in Malmö barely made our satisfaction. Here are the key observations from our experience: 1. **Room Size and Amenities**: The room we stayed in was small, even for 1 adult and 1 kid. Additionally, there was no air conditioning, and the windows could not be opened. This made the room feel stuffy and a bit uncomfortable during warmer weather. 2. **Food Quality**: The food served at the hotel was acceptable/ fine, but it did not stand out in any particular way. It met basic expectations but did not exceed them. 3. **Cleanliness**: The overall cleanliness of the hotel was average. However, we found the restaurant to be somewhat dirty, regarding interior and area with glass. Also we did find long hair from previous guests in our bed upon arrival. In summary, while the food was passable and the cleanliness was average, the lack of air conditioning and the inability to open windows, and the discovery of hair in our bed significantly detracted from our stay. But the staff was kind and prime location for exploring the city!

The room's heating system was malfunctioning. No phones in the rooms. A leak in the bathroom. The next morning when the tranquility of my stay was shattered by the deafening noise of renovation work. It felt as though the ceiling was being torn apart. Making it impossible to rest or even concentrate. When I contacted reception from my mobile phone ( no phones in the room) to voice my concerns, I was met with dismissiveness and a claim that there had been prior notice of the renovation work. However, this was not the case, as I had not been informed, and the noise level was beyond what anyone could reasonably expect. As someone who suffers from migraines, the loud noise exacerbated my condition and caused significant distress. Upon checking out, I discovered that a notice about the renovation work had been placed in the reception area. This underhanded tactic further compounded my frustration, as it felt like an attempt to shift blame rather than acknowledge the hotel's responsibility for the disturbance. Overall, my experience at the Best Western Plus Hotel Noble House was deeply disappointing. Despite its promising location, the lack of communication, maintenance issues, and disruptive renovation work overshadowed any positives. I urge potential guests to reconsider staying at this hotel until they address these significant shortcomings and prioritize the comfort and well-being of their patrons. We chose Unity Malmo because it was advertised as a perfect mix of traditional holiday apartment and luxury hotel. Unfortunately, we could not discover the part of the luxury hotel. The hotel is on Nobelvägen and there is a bus stop about 5 minutes away from which you can take line 3 either to the train station or towards Triangeln. However, only this one line runs and only about every 20 minutes. The area around the hotel does not offer any attractions apart from the Sorgenfri Cemetery. There is a smaller supermarket nearby which is handy if you are self catering. We chose the deluxe studio with 22 square meters. We were welcomed at the reception very friendly are we were also able to leave our luggage until the studio was ready. We received a map and a description of how to get into the building of our studio. Some of the paths are very winding and some of them can only be reached via balconies outside. Our studio was on the 5th floor under the roof with a slope. It was very warm and stuffy. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning and the windows could only be opened when it wasn't raining. The interior is designed by a British designer and decorated in light beige. The individual cabinet elements are stackable. Unfortunately, the upper elements are not accessible for small people, not even the top level in the kitchenette, where pans and pots are placed. A small ladder would be helpful here if you are not accompanied by a taller person. The sofa bed of 140 cm x 200 cm is too small for 2 people, especially since access is only possible from one side as it is right against the wall. This is impractical. In addition, there is no bedside cabinet to store something. Despite the relatively large number of cupboards, there is a lack of storage in crucial places. In the bathroom there is neither a board at the sink nor at the shower. The table is also very small if you only want to eat for two. We found the associated chairs to be very uncomfortable. There was no real workplace where you could conveniently put your laptop. So we had to improvise a lot. The small kitchen is well equipped with portable induction hotplates, a microwave and also a dishwasher. The hotplates could only be used if you turned on the ventilation because the fire alarm was directly above the kitchen. However, the ventilation was extremely loud so that hardly any conversation was possible while cooking.What was missing was a tea towel to dry off a bit. A hand brush would also have been useful, as cleaning only took place every 7 days. With us, this was one day before departure - in this case it no longer makes sense. There is also a gym in the complex that can be used. The Orangery is very pretty with plenty of seating and a large games table for people to borrow one of the many games that are available. The room also invites you to linger over a coffee or cold drink. We didn't book breakfast as it seemed overpriced at 11 euros. There was no buffet, just a sandwich with c

The staff was at the top of cooperation. The hotel is comfortable and clean. My friends and I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel. Breakfast was prepared for us at night in cans when they knew we would be leaving early in the morning, which was a nice gesture from them. We appreciate it.

Fantastic location, close to the train station! We initially had some issues with Google maps pointing is in the wrong way, but once found, it was brilliantly situated near the train station. There isn't much to do in Malmo, so if you're hungry, it's conjuction to pop across to the train station for food and drinks. The hotel is very dated, but that is what gives it some personality, it has the old school lifts on the first floor and if you have heavy bags and they put you on floors 4 or 5, I hope the receptionist is kind enough to tell you that the lifts work in zig zags, as ours didn't, didn't even mention there was another lift and so we had to carry our very heavy bags up several flights of stairs. We were not amused. Perhaps, they didn't not feel like explaining the lifts but it would have been appreciated if they had! Breakfast is downstairs in the basement, which sounds daunting but they make up the area nicely. Food is acceptable and plenty of choice. The rooms as musty smelling but that's due to the sheer age of the place.

Had one night stay in this hotel and we arrived late, we were disappointed that no elevator from parking level to the main lobby and we were forced to carry the luggage all the way up on the staircase. Was told this is because old building but still not convincing! The room was specious and very organised and clean. The breakfast was very good and very rich with many options to chose from, special thanks to Asem at the restaurant/ breakfast for being nice with us. There is no free parking for the hotel and must use the basement paid parking

We stayed in a family room for 5 nights, the room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The lobby had plenty of board games, table tennis, bike hire and a great café bar. There was a great selection for breakfast, including cooked and cold options; pancakes were a firm favourite with our children! We would highly recommend this hotel to families, across the road from Malmö central train station and plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful - a great place to stay!

This new hotel is directly on the tram line from Lund Central to ESS, hence very practical for visiting the numerous R&D places along this line. It is modern, staff is friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast is overall good, though coffee is terrible and you have to pay extra for proper espresso. There is a small gym decently equipped. Unfortunately instead of a good spinning bike, there is some weird thing with moving arms, making serious training impossible.
