AC and all electrical appliances are not working properly in the room. They have a timer and electricity shuts down if no movement is made in the room.. meaning you cannot rest.. wake up all sweaty and your phone/watch is not charged. Also, a lot of noise from the bar on the roof and surounding clubs. Stay away, no excuse to stay here.

Nyota hotel is een prachtig en betaalbaar hotel in Mamaia. Het biedt alle luxe en comfort die je wil. Parkeren kan voor de deur, is gratis en er is altijd security aanwezig. Onze kamer was ruim, een lekker groot bed, prima badkamer en balkon met uitzicht op de zee. Grote kledingkast, regendouche en tv met honderden kanalen. Echter waren er ook wat nadelen aan de kamer. Op de kamer instructie stond dat de airco alleen werkt als de deuren (kamerdeur en balkondeur) dicht zijn. Eerlijk gezegd heb ik me afgevraagd of de airco überhaupt wel werkte aangezien de kamer nooit ijskoud’ werd, zelfs niet wanneer de airco de hele dag op 16 graden stond. Na 2 dagen was de temperatuur wel aangenaam, maar als je op een hete kamer komt, wil je wel dat de airco snel de kamer afkoelt. De hygiëne en housekeeping waren prima. De wasbak mocht wat beter schoongemaakt worden en het doucheputje liep niet goed af wat niet opgelost werd, maar voor de rest was de kamer altijd netjes en schoon. Het enige echte grote probleem was, was dat op onze laatste avond een discotheek luid en duidelijk hoorbaar was. Tot diep in de nacht. Helaas waren wij hier niet van op de hoogte gesteld dat er op vrijdagavond een discotheek te horen zou zijn, anders hadden we oordopjes geregeld. Ondanks de discotheek, raad ik dit hotel wel aan. Wellicht is het probleem met de discotheek op te lossen door zelf in het publiek te gaan staan en daar te genieten?

One of our favourite hotels at the sea side. The rooms are brand new, spacious, large confortable bed, nice balcony with sea view or lake view. Breakfast is tasty and has many options. The coffee is really good, big plus for this. They have garrage and front parking as well, so it is very safe. The pool is a great place to spend the afternoons. They have their own beach, right in front of the hotel. Highly reccomend Nyota!

I've been surprised by the quality and customer service! Very beautiful hotel, food was amazing, free pool and beach, that usualy is quite expensivein that area. Highly recommend!

If you like to sleep at night, this is NOT the place for you. The nightclubs are so close the music pounds through the walls. This is not a hotel to relax in. This is a hotel for the all night party crowd.
