We stayed at Outbound recently on an anniversary trip. The location was ideal for us (walking distance to Good Life Cafe) and the room was cute and comfortable. Ongoing construction is still a minor issue, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt here because we didn’t notice excessive noise and it seems like everything will look great when they’re done. We enjoyed happy hour at the on-site Bar Sierra twice, and the wine bar was an unexpected pleasure! We had a great time chatting with Chip, the expert sommelier, and doing a tasting flight. Chip made our anniversary very special and we hope to visit again soon!

I booked the hotel by mistake, thinking it was very close to Yosemite Park, but it was actually very far. This town is actually a famous ski resort in California. The town is quiet and safe, and the surrounding area is Highway 359, the best route to enjoy autumn in California.
The service in the hotel is very good and the girls at the front desk are kind and kind. What also surprised me was that the food in the hotel was great! Be it breakfast or dinner. The overall environment of the hotel is also better and cleaner. The only drawback is that the bed is a bit uncomfortable, everything else is great

Hotel facilities are quite complete, everything is oven, pots and knives! The room was clean and tidy, because it was a suite, it was very large and there was a balcony with a view! The only regret is that the swimming pool is being repaired and there is no way to swim! The location is a little far away, around 9 o'clock, the nearby shops are closed!

Serene, beautiful and peaceful w/ an amazing staff running the place, Tamarak Lodge is unmatched in places to stay. Have to give a big shout out to Micheal at the front desk who was an enthusiastic help in making us feel at home, as well as assisting in places to see in the surrounding area. Michael at one point pulled over in his car in the lot (on his break) and helped us find our way to a trail. Maura (spelled differently) was also extremely friendly and helpful. What a place ! WOW great job Tamarak Lodge for hiring such great people

We stayed at this hotel for one night. Mountain hotel that really has its charm!
The room was spacious and very comfortable.
A little badly soundproofed but I have the impression that it is that in all mountain hotels.
Bathroom a bit small though.
The swimming pool and jacuzzi are open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Very Good
SScenic52863944791We had room 6 at this friendly B&B, the room looked out over some pine trees at the back of the building. There was an armchair, a table with 2 chairs, a very comfortable king size bed with side tables and sockets for charging. The room also had a toaster oven, a fridge and freezer (quiet) and a microwave and a worktop with a sink. No tea or coffee making but my wife microwaved water to make tea and I went to reception where there was always a coffee pot on the go. The bathroom had a separate sink area with room for all your bits and pieces and a bath with a shower. The shower had the best water pressure I found in our many days of travelling. It didn’t quite knock you across the bathroom but was powerful! We loved it, after lots of driving it was a relief to feel really clean. My ocd detected some interesting diy attempts but they were endearing rather than annoying! There was no a/c but it wasn’t necessary, the room has large sliding windows with bug screens and there was a nice breeze coming through the room. There is also an outside door leading done some steps to the side alley. Best not to have this open at night as there is bear activity in the area. Breakfast is in the main reception area. There are several tables as well as 2 sofas with tables. It is billed as simple but it’s really more than that. I was so pleased they had a creamy fat free yoghurt and granola which suited me perfectly. There was bread and a toaster, butter, peanut butter (of course) and a couple of hot stainless steel things with lids (I forget what they are called) with scrambled eggs and hash browns. Two filter coffee pots with proper coffee and hot water for tea. It was lovely, after spending time in 4-5 star hotels where you sit in a stuffy dining room and have to order off a menu, this was a refreshing change. For dinner we walked a very short distance to the Pizza and Tap which has a wide range of local beers on tap and good food. There is also a sports bar and grill but it was too noisy for us. There is also a row of shops which include a coffee shop. This is a place run by young people who are doing a great job. I imagine its a snowboarders heaven in the winter. There are two new buildings to the side of the building which will add capacity.
We needed a room with three beds so the Edelweiss sufficed!. The room was sparsely furnished with minimal equipment, for instance no chairs to sit on, and no racks for your suitcases. I think this place was built many years ago, and though clean, it sure hasn't been updated. And it isn't cheap. The cable tv service is terrible and the beds are old ticking mattresses on open coil springs which make a racket everytime you turn over. I wouldn't stay here again for the money, but it would be okay if you like rustic.
GGuest UserThis place did not feel like a hostel more like you were staying in someone’s home. Plenty of free parking and walking distance from the village. Great location and one of the lowest priced accommodations you can find in Mammoth. I’ve stayed at other higher priced locations that were not as nice. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms.
陶陶Because it is going to go to Yosemite from Las Vegas, so the hotel is scheduled to be halfway to this hotel. This is a small town like the Changbai Mountain Wanda Resort in China. There are many hotels and restaurants. The hotel is also the best facility in all MOTELs on the 8th of the United States. It is also convenient to make accommodations. As long as the passport is given to the service desk, it is good to say CHICK IN. Just wait for the key to stay at the hotel. The next day, 6 days, the room card will be given. Service desk, drink free coffee on BAYBAY
JJUNWhen I checked in, I greeted the welcome cookies that everyone agreed to, and the taste was really good. I accidentally ate several pieces. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the business center of the town. There are several supermarkets and restaurants, which is very convenient. Compared to the desolation of Death Valley the day before, the scenery of Lake Mammoth is simply small and fresh, with snow mountains, lakes and woods contrasting with each other. It would be nice to snow in winter.
RR_BananasStayed here last year. When I arrived the owner told me he couldn't find my reservation - strange I thought to myself - so I returned to my car to get the paperwork. When I presented evidence of my reservation he blamed me for giving him the wrong name... He said this in a rude way, I'm quite patient so I didn't respond to his aggressive approach. I can only assume that he did this to either try to say there were no vacancies or to try and charge me more. The room itself was basic. The taps didn't work properly and everything was very run down. The next morning, the owner was having an argument outside our door with another resident who was complaining that his toilet wouldn't flush properly and the shower wasn't working. The owner was being very rude and blaming the customer, the customer sounded incredulous with some of his excuses It sounded close to coming to blows. We had breakfast the next morning, very basic and the muffins and other baked products tasted stale. The breakfast was served by a young girl possibly the owners daughter. We didn't have breakfast the next morning. We were glad to leave the Rodeway, it is one of the worst places we have ever stayed. On top of that the owner was rude and unpleasant.
BBred肖As the best choice for Vegas to Yosemite and San Francisco, because other hotels are not too expensive or too broken, the overall clean and refreshing, simple facilities, the front desk lady is very nice and friendly, plus points
