Very impressed with their integrity. I had lost something in my room two weeks ago. They kept it safe until my next visit (this one).

The facilities are old, but the value for money is great. The location is great. The friendliness is great.

The location of the hotel is good. Although the rooms are in need of refurbishment, they are very large, the stay was comfortable. The staff is very polite! When you check in, you will be escorted to your room and will be helped to bring your things, which is very nice. There is a pool and spa.

I'll get right to the point. 2 sheeshas, 3 simple drinks (nothing fancy). BD 95 (USD251). Not even the most expensive hotel charges this much. Complete thieves. Menu is not clear, and this completely nasty manager keeps coming every 5 minutes asking for a tip for no reason. I have been shocked before, but this is a new level. Be careful if you wish to visit this hotel.

This is a budget hotel in an otherwise expensive destination (Bahrain isn't really a cheap place given the powerful currency). The rooms are decent although quite dated as its an old property. Breakfast when i visited wasn't a buffet but rather a complimentary a la carte. But perhaps on the weekends when theres more occupancy they might have a buffet ... not sure. There's also a bar and sports pub and a night club within the property (which is true of many 3 star and above places in Bahrain). The pool wasn't functional and theres no gym , sports center, travel desk or other good to have amenities. However there are some plus points 1. Central Location and Views from the room 2. They have complimentary airport pick / drop 3. And again, its a budget hotel so if traveling solo or for business worth it. 4. Very helpful staff that try and accommodate your request to their best Tip : Take rooms higher up to get better views of the city and maybe of the sea as well All in all the property can do with a little better upkeep and get the pool, and maybe a sports room functional. That would be good !

Absolutely pathetic place to stay. We reached at night and there were hooligans right at the entrance who were creating a ruckus & there was nothing being done by the Hotel Staff to keep them away. And even while we were checking-in there were shady characters in the lobby. I was told I am being upgraded, but unfortunately I was given room on 6th floor & it is impossible to sleep with the noise from the club in the premises. The room was absolutely shabby, carpets had burn marks, sofas were not cleaned. Towels were torn. Just not worth staying here.

I stayed here with my 14 year old son for the 2023 Bahrain Grand Prix. Quite possibly the worst hotel I have stayed in. Check in was easy but no towels in the room so we rang reception they sent 1 for the 2 of us. 10 minutes later they brought the 2nd, with holes in it. Also no toilet roll so we had to ask. 4 nights there we never had the room cleaned. We were told at check in that breakfast was room service and to call if we wanted it. We did so at 830 on our 1st morning and was told it would be with us. At 930 we gave in and went on the hunt for a hotel restaurant. We found it on 1st floor and they had a breakfast menu. Only 3 of the 6 meals were available so we chose the American with coffee and fruit juice. 20 minutes later nothing had arrived at our table so we left stinking of cigarette smoke from the 3 other diners in the room. The bar well I don’t want to go there. It’s appalling and complete rip off £19 for a Diet Coke and a gin and tonic (soda water) and full of smoke.

I stayed in 2015 here and the reason i decided to stay again as it was a good place back in 2015, this time i decided to book the hotel via OTA, which i did (19th Jan for 3 nights). I sent a message to arrange an airport pickup and ask some other information, no one get back in 3 days hence i decided to call the hotel directly, 3 attempts and no luck to be answer by Monroe team hence i give-up and cancelled the booking. Booked elsewhere and enjoyed my stay with great service.

Reasons to warn in the evening in the cafes in the hotel, Saudis are exploited, defrauded, and attacked in some cases, and more than one problem has occurred in this place. With the Saudis in particular
