Mural Living Hotel Manaus Reviews

Mural Living has the best hotel breakfast I had the whole time we were in Brazil. It has a youth hostel feel, but large private rooms for a decent price. We stayed one night before departing for our Amazon adventure and slept well in the beds. In the afternoon we visited the square and theatre, and took a boat to see the two rivers meet - all walking distance from the hostel. There is a nice Italian-style restaurant nearby that also does good Amazonas food and seems popular with the locals.

It's very close to the airport and convenient. There is a shuttle bus, but it's not frequent. You'd better use Uber to pick up the airport. The room is not too small, clean and tidy. Breakfast is okay, the fruits are not as rich as those in Brazil.

A very good and powerful hotel, very cost-effective. Except for the slightly loud air conditioning, there are no other problems. Clean and hygienic, complete facilities, considerate and warm service. The breakfast is also very rich, highly recommended to stay. I was very happy about my trip to Manaus. Everything went smoothly. The one-day tour I booked with the agent next to the Manaus Port ticket gate was very cost-effective. They said it was 150. I thought it was US dollars at first, but then I tried again and again. The confirmed price is 150 yare, including pink dolphins, piranhas, black and white rivers, primitive tribes, etc., and of course a sumptuous lunch. Until the end, I couldn’t believe that there was no compulsory charge during the process. The whole boat is made up of local people. Had a lot of fun. It’s just that the tour guide provides services in Portuguese throughout the journey. Navigate to ponta negra beach. The ***** River has a beach where you can swim. The river water reminds me of the Ergun River. Take a ferry from porto da CEASA to Porto do Careiro da Várzea. You can also swim at the pier here, which is the main stream of the Amazon River.

The hotel is on a commercial street, very close to the pier. The hotel is clean and convenient for travel. In particular, the landlady enthusiastically recommended travel agencies to the tropical rainforest. The security in Manaus is worrying, but entering the hotel is safe and the door is locked🔒) Especially the warm and thoughtful service of the landlady makes you feel at ease. When we left, because we only had 50 Brazilian reals, it cost 60 reals to call a taxi. (Embarrassed) The boss lady called us an Uber again on her mobile phone and solved our problem. Thank you.

The hotel is well located. Only that the bed was uncomfortable, the rest was ok. We were in Manáus for an excursion along the Amazon River and the first night we stayed in a hotel with a similar price from an international chain and it was better than Mural. It's not bad but the bed didn't convince us

Um bom lugar

Good location for the Old historic Quarter and restaurants, Very Good value, nice clean rooms, excellent variety breakfast and very friendly helpful staff, especially Viviane and Josemi. We have already heartily recommended to others.

After the drought in the Amazon cut our 9 day camping tour short, we found Mural Living as a last minute accommodation for a shower, wi-fi, and air conditioning. Over the next few days, it became our home as we scrambled to find another tour operator. The hotel is centrally located, clean, and feels like home. We loved the hot showers, the quick service requests, all the kindness shown when communicating with me in my awful Portuguese, and the general low key vibe of the place. We ended up staying 3 nights, each morning coming down and asking to stay another night but keeping the same room. They so kindly obliged. I'm a huge fan of this hotel and whole-heartedly recommend it for others. It'll feel like a home away from home.

This hotel is fabulous value. It is in a super location, less than 15 mins walk from the theatre and historic centre. Staff are helpful and bedrooms are clean and large. There is plenty of hot water and good quality showers. Washbasins are wide with plenty of space around them, which is often an issue in budget hotels. For the price, you won’t get better value in Manaus.

Pros: clean, good wifi, staff are helpful, location is good, snacks available in the lobby, luggage storage. Cons: area is dead quiet at night, so need to uber everywhere (I think this is all over Manaus though).

Close to the main tourist attractions but the area is quite unsafe after dark and on Sundays and holidays. The mattress is very soft and the pillow feels like a cobblestone. Large room. Bathroom is ok. I found it clean and the breakfast is very good. The staff are very friendly.

I really liked the service, friendly and collaborative staff. I stayed in the Superior room, very spacious and with a large TV. Right in the city center, close to Mercadão and Teatro Amazonas. Breakfast ok.

hotel very well located on a shopping street and close to the municipal mercado. Large and clean room, decent breakfast. Very good value for money. the staff is friendly, you can walk around the streets full of shops and the historic city center is only 800 meters away. Recommended for small budgets.
