Water Side Resort & Spa Hotel - All Inclusive

We had our family summer vacation here and overall the experience was good. The food is very good and you have a lot of choices. We enjoyed the food, deserts and fruits. Coffee is not good, but that is ok. Beer is good (Efes) and Pepsi and other juices were quite good. The rest of the drinks are local, but not very bad...I've tried some cocktails and white wine and were acceptable...cocktails some of them quite very good 😁 The hotel overall is ok, rooms are clean and good (not very big but ok). Furniture is ok, but in some parts is very used.... Daily cleaning in the room can be improved. Sometimes you can feel bad smell from air conditioning.....but AC is working ok. The pool is very big, clean and ok (water can be a bit warmer but it's ok). There is a smaller pool for kids and there are also slides inside hotel area. Hotel is not on the beach but the trip to the sea is around 5-7 mins and can be an relaxing time...there is also transfer to beach arranged by hotel included. Wi-fi is working very good at the hotel and even at the beach and pool. Personnel is ok and very hard working. Every night there are shows organized and they are quite good...we liked them. All in all we spent good time for 1 week at this hotel.

We had our family holiday here mainly because it was within budget for the adjoining room. The hotel staff we had to deal with were all pleasant and helpful. Arriving after midnight we took advantage of the soup and bread available which was very tasty after more than an hour on a coach. On the first day, we talked with the spa staff about what they could offer and the family VIP room sounded good, the coffee or mango peel and massage and a follow-up treatment the day before we were leaving. The room was lovely and the masseurs were excellent. A BIG thanks to Silvi, Anti and Sandra. All of them were very kind, patient and professional! We all felt great after the treatments and actively promoted the benefits to other guests when we talked. The Apple Tea in the spa was so good we bought some from the gift shop but also found it online in the UK much cheaper! The aftershave I bought was considerably cheaper there but has a very short "smell" factor, it would be better to pay full price if you want it to last. The pool boy (young man) was excellent, always quick to help find sun beds or move umbrellas. Nothing was too much trouble and this made being by the pool our first choice. The waterslides are a little slow for my taste but our 12-year-old loved them! The lady that cleaned our room (1225) was lovely, nice little touch of flowers on the bed! It made a nice memory for our holiday, thank you. Food was OK, I have had better from other resorts but as this one caterers to more family-friendly holidays it was perfectly acceptable and this meant I only put on 2KGs I would have loved to have seen more seafood available. Overall we are happy with the break and have come home to the UK feeling suitably refreshed!

Lovely hotel, staff and food. Memis Sous chef excellent and Kemil on reception too, both took our food allergies seriously. Many Russians, hardly any English. Markets - Side on Saturday very good, better prices and same goods as bigger Manavgat market on Monday and Thursdays. Bus - easy - across road from hotel, 1 euro each way. Beach - 5 min walk away, lots of sunbeds, bar and restaurant. Toilets, showers. Beach shoes would be very helpful as getting in and out of sea on sandy shingle was a workout! A few shops in the basement of hotel - barber/hairdresser, jewellery, trainers and a store that sells everything. You could arrive with no toiletries at all and buy from here- good if travelling with hand luggage only. Spa - didn’t use Towels - strictly only handed out 8am-12, hand back by 6pm. Pool closes at 5.30pm, slides at 4pm. Entertainment - mix of good and awful Table Tennis- only allowed to play when the guy in the hut is there. Never in the evenings. Bring your own bats and balls if you like to play. Mostly middle aged men play water polo, not seen any teenagers or in 20s which is a shame. Stella resort in Crete was fantastic for including everyone but that’s another review.
