Aspen at Manchester

Nice location, room was clean when we moved in on Sunday night. However we had no service. I stayed for 5 nights and only had towels changed one time. The room was never cleaned the whole time we were there. There is no one to talk to unless you call the manager's personal phone. there is no one at a desk etc. for check in or for correspondence or communications, period. Never saw anyone the whole time we were there except for other guest and occasionally see a maintenance man or maid. No management at any time was ever present, period. Sad way to do business. I would not stay here again.

This place kept popping up on Facebook so I finally looked into it. It was the most reasonably priced motel in the area. Check in instructions are on your phone as there is noone is on site. Thats kind of disconcerting to me. They send you a code to enter on the keypad on your door. Well I had a hard time seeing the numbers and when I did I felt rushed to put the code in. I tried four or five times and couldn't get in. Maybe its me but I didn't care for that mode of entry at all. Thank goodness the people in the room next to me were sitting outside and friendly and the husband got me in (thank you!!). I was afraid to leave for dinner and not be able to get in (they do give you a number to call if there are problems), so I just had things that were in my cooler. Too bad for my last night in Vermont. Location is good, on the main road and set back from the road so no noise. The room itself was great, big, bright, updated, the bathroom was wonderful, a huge shower with good water pressure. Another thing, there was no information, even a sheet of paper, of a number to call in case you need help or info (yes, it had been texted but in the room would be good too), suggestions of places to eat, where the ice machine was, how to use the tv (not everyone is up to date on streaming). My room had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Room was great, it was other things that upset me as a senior traveling alone.

Nice, quiet, clean rooms. We got in late and I liked that you could just check in on your phone and they give you a code for your room. Never even saw any staff, which we didnt need to as we were there for 1 night. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice hotel. Clean and looked recently remodeled. It was very quiet, allowing me to relax. Will stay here again when in the area.

Stopped here because there was a terrible thunderstorm and we couldn’t drive further. Turned out to be a good choice price wise. Room was ok (pillows a bit hard.) Self check in was tricky. Wound up calling the number on the desk to get help.

It was a clean room and contactless check-in and check out was good perk to have.
