The property is quite vast with trees and decorations around. The basic problem what I found is 1.the room toilets have no exhaust fans. 2. The cable connection has got no proper channels at all. A 3 star hotel should have a little more variety when there is nothing to do in the evening. 3. The helping hands provide stained bed sheets after repeated request. 4. The room I was provided is claustrophobic. I expected a better airy room. I even requested for a well ventilated room. They could not provide one. 5. In the swimming pool there is no provision of providing swimming costume to the guests who did not bring any. Drinking alcohol should be prohibited as there are many other guests in the pool. 6. In the restaurant, I was shocked to see the staff behaving very badly with one of the guests. This is extremely unprofessional. For this reason only I feel the management should look into what the staffs are doing at their end. 7. No activity in the evening. Carom and table tennis board is there but in a horrible shape. Only for the food, the location and property I am ready to give this one 2 stars. But I don’t think it’s coat effective at all.

We stayed in cottages C5 and C6. Room is really unkept. They don't provide even basic amenities like refrigerator, teamaker, etc. In our case they didn't have TV subscription as well. Really shady hotel, given the luxury price they are charging. Another issue is, the people they allow to stay in their property. When we had gone, there was a group of 4 men and 2 women staying. The 2 women were not related to any of the 4 men. It was just shady business, not conforming to the price we paid. I had a pathetic experience having gone there with kids and parents. Please don't travel there with family and kids. You will get lot of unanswerable questions.

This hotel was once upon a time the best stay resort. But gone are those days. Do not stay here. The management and owner need to spend huge amount to now bring back the quality and freshness. Property is ill maintained, smelly rooms, dampness, no upkeep. Reataurant and lounge are smelly stuffy, dim light, bath towels , bed sheets worn out old. Nothing about the hotel is good. I dont know how they get health and safety certificate!!

Don't Come to this resort, most horrific experience, cockroaches and lizard all over room. Restaurant is horrible, no water, no food for kids, no mini fridge, no bath towel. I spoke to the Sandipan Biswas the managing director on the phone about the situation, he was least bothered nor apologetic. So never choose Sana Beach resort at Mandarmani

First and foremost, you need to book in advance as there always seems to be a tremendous rush on weekends (starting Friday). We had tried for 2 weekends and both were totally booked out. finally we traveled during the week. I took both my mother and mother-in-law (81 and 77 respectively)…former on a wheelchair and latter walking with a stick. We explored the entire property. Except for two small steps near the pool, the entire place was wheelchair accessible. There were very nice innovative concepts in the property…a well covered shack right at the entrance of the beach, an entire glass room right next to the pool called Reflector, an organic garden and a very reasonably priced tuck store called Bazaar. The uniqueness of Bazaar was that there was an artisan who would be creating different traditional figurines right in front of you and then you could buy them. U would have seen the figurine been made from scratch. Besides, what stands out at Sana Beach is the food. Their daab chingri will make you keep on wanting more. their staff was quite cordial and nice. Room service was hence quite satisfactory. One great feature was that the rooms on the ground floor would open upto the pool on the back side. So, mornings would begin with sounds of birds and then kids in the swimming pool. Seriously such a pleasant experience. Incase you are traveling in a big group, you may want to check out the presidential suite. It was magnificent. It was three storeys with a drawing room on the ground floor and bedrooms on the first and second floor.it felt like a palatial bungalow. And you could see the sea from the 2nd floor. Last but not the least, check out their bar called Kolahol….it has all sorts of indoor games which people could enjoy with their drinks.

A Horrendous Nightmare: Stay Away from This Hotel! Review: Where do I even begin with this hotel? This is the fourth time that we have visited this hotel but was shocked to see the deterioration. From the moment we stepped foot inside, it was a complete disaster. This place is an absolute nightmare, and I urge anyone considering staying here to run in the opposite direction. They have allocated our room (Cozy Suit- room number 108) after 2 hours of scheduled time. Firstly, the staff members were rude and unprofessional. They seemed utterly disinterested in providing any sort of customer service. It was as if they were doing us a favor by allowing us to stay there. Every request we made was met with sighs and eye-rolls, as if we were inconveniencing them. The rooms themselves were a disaster. The moment we entered, we were greeted by a foul smell, basic amenities like towel was not also provided. The carpets were stained and dirty, the furniture was outdated and worn-out. The room doesn't contain freezer nor do have a tea maker water started dripping from the AC at night. The car parking allotted for the room was full and the security guard ordered us to park our car elsewhere. Let's talk about the so-called food, they are changing Rs 550 for the buffet lunch which do have daal, chawel as the menu. Although the menu contain chicken and fish but the dowels are all empty, on asking them they told us to wait for half an hour as they are preparing the same, after waiting for another 35 minutes when the situation doesn't improved we left the venue after eating daal and chowel . The complimentary breakfast was also a sad affair. We ordered ice cream in the night which was never delivered 😭. Ordered tea in the morning but the fate was same. After all this we approached the reception to lodge a formal complaint but found out that they don't have a complaint register even. Lastly, let's talk about the exorbitant prices. This hotel had the audacity to charge premium rates for such a horrendous experience. We felt completely ripped off and cheated. It's clear that they prioritize profit over providing a decent experience for their guests. In conclusion, I cannot stress enough how much I regret staying at this hotel. It was a complete nightmare from start to finish. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this hotel if you value your sanity and want a pleasant stay

So we went to sana beach resort with family of 8 people and booked 3 cottage rooms worth 9000 each. Those were supposed to be their best rooms. I got fooled by seeing their property photos and booked 3 rooms for 2days and also paid 50% of the room rent in advance . When we got there, even though the check-in time was 12 and we got there at 1, we had to wait more that half an hour as the rooms were not ready yet. The rooms were very small and no electric kettle and tea-coffee powder, sugar, no fridge, tv was not working (missed the IPL final for the reason), no hand wash in bathroom. Pathetic. Then I opened the wardrobe to keep my clothes inside and to my surprise there were lizards with baby lizards crawling inside. Food is the worst I had in any hotels in my lifetime. Fish, chicken, rice everything was 3rd class and tasteless . They couldn't even provide some overboiled rice and potato for my 3year old baby. Unfortunately next morning at around 5 AM I got a call from my cousin that my uncle has got an stroke and is currently being taken to hospital. As it was big brother of my father and my father was also traveling with us, he said we are going back right now. We contacted the reception and described our situation in person but even after repeated requests they made some goon type people appear and made us pay for the full 2 days and the manager was laughing at our situation and commented that you booked and now have paid for 2 days, why don't you just stay and enjoy instead of going home. Really, we were outsiders so couldn't do anything but pay up and leave the resort in disbelief. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THE RESORT, IT'S A HUMBLE REQUEST FROM ME TO ALL

Horrible services. This is one of the earliest reserts in the area. They charges us 6200 per room. Ac temperature was not going below 25. We complained repeatedly both to house keeping and reception. Different technician came and gave ua different story. The Room became a furnace and unbearable. One of them even told us to lower fan speed coz the air is going out of the room (with all windows and doors shut) due to the fan speed. Ultimately even after repeated complaints they didnt do anything. Sometime the taps are not working sometimes the toilet fush was not working. Tremendous bad experience. Never take room no 302.

The hotels food service is abysmal. Slow service makes dining here a disappointment. Even Basic request are mishandled. Do not waste your money on their subpar food. Look elsewhere for a hotel that values culinary excellence and customer satisfaction.
