Hotel Casarose - Cannes Mandelieu

Points positifs : - La deco : c’est vraiment superbe ! J’ai rarement autant aimé la deco d’un hôtel. C’est girly, vintage, esprit californien. J’adore ! - La literie très confortable. - Le balcon donnant sur la piscine. - Le petit-déjeuner varié. - La terrasse du restaurant et la piscine très agréables. - La table de ping-pong, le terrain de pétanque et l’accès direct au canal. - L’accès proche aux plages. Points négatifs : - Le service ! On est plus sur un personnel camping que sur un hôtel 4 étoiles. Nous avions prévenu que nous arriverions tard (23h) et on nous avait rassuré en nous disant qu’un gardien serait là. Nous sommes arrivées à 22h50. Portail fermé. Nous avons sonné et appelé littéralement pendant 20 MINUTES NON-STOP. Personne ne nous a ouvert. Il a fallu qu’un couple sorte de l’hôtel pour que le portail s’ouvre et que nous puissions entrer. Arrivées à l’accueil légèrement énervées, un monsieur nous accueille en nous disant « ah oui il y a une soirée ce soir ». Pas un mot d’excuse ! Il nous a donné notre carte sans nous expliquer le fonctionnement de l’hôtel, les horaires du petit-déjeuner ou encore le check-out… Idem sur le petit-déjeuner où personne ne nous accueille ou nous explique comment cela fonctionne. Ma fille de 7 ans a voulu toucher une écharpe en vente à l’accueil, elle s’est fait réprimander par la responsable. Dommage je voulais l’acheter… Enfin pour le dimanche, nous avons demandé si nous pouvons déjeuner sur place en bord de piscine. La réponse « c’est brunch le dimanche 49€/adulte ; 19€/enfant. Si vous ne désirez pas bruncher, il faudra aller dehors ». Bref, ça manque cruellement de services et d’attentions pour un hôtel de ce standing. - Attention aux soirées les vendredis/samedis soirs. Les chambres donnent sur la terrasse du restaurant donc c’est très très bruyant jusqu’à minuit.

We had an excellent stay (5 nights) with our 6 year old daughter in this hotel close to the beaches (~800 m on foot). The staff are very welcoming and attentive to their customers. In fact, we were upgraded because the room, which was initially allocated to us, had numerous humidity blisters on the walls. We explained the situation to reception and we were changed rooms immediately. What we also enjoyed was the giant brunch organized on Sundays outside the hotel. Excellent idea because there was a choice, it was plentiful and we ate very well. I 200% recommend this very well located place.

Hammer blows and drill as a wake-up call, we are really at level zero of Reception! As a bonus, a good diarrhea after breakfast and since I had dinner there in the evening it obviously comes from here… It’s a shame

Very friendly staff. Great restaurant, both the cuisine and the service. I was assisted by a very nice girl, who knew how to suggest me very well. And the food was excellent, which is appreciated since many hotels have lost a lot of quality. I would definitely return!

Little getaway to the south of France. The hotel is very well decorated, the rooms are large and the breakfast is complete. There is something for every taste. The swimming pool is very pleasant and the new SPA area is very welcoming. Let's hope the prices don't increase...

We were in the hotel for more than 20 days, the workers, with some exceptions, are very pleasant. The retro hotel theme is nice. But in our opinion there are things that could be improved. Cleaning. In the patio restaurant the seat cushions have not been cleaned in a long time, the food menu is very limited, scarce. There is a party at night almost every day, so it is a noisy hotel and if you complain at reception, an older lady told me that they will let you know that the hotel is like that. If you are looking for a great party, if you are looking for tranquility, I do not recommend it. Cleanliness is another weak point, the terrace of our room had some cloth chairs with stains that were never cleaned. Neither does El Cristal and when you open it you realize that it needs more cleaning. The pool is dated and a little small, there are water beds which makes it look even smaller. The gardens are well maintained. Many mosquitoes (bring mosquito repellent) The room is spacious. The owner is friendly and smiling. Breakfast is acceptable. For me it's honestly not worth what you pay for it. On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 7 being generous.
