Little piece of Heaven
Once you find the place it’s amazing. Private parking on site. The breakfast is AMAZING! Everything is fresh… oh the cheese!

Condition of the rooms is good, the outside pool could use a bit of a clean up, damaged decking to the rear and pool needs a clean. It's quite pricey for what you get. What really let this place down from our experience was the hotel management (staff on the day were great). Two of the rooms on the second floor had no hot water and the room on the top floor had no running water whatsoever. They did explain that this was an area issue and was not their fault. Whilst I appreciate things can happen beyond your control, we paid for a service that they were unable to provide. Hotel rooms at bear minimum should have hot running water. They refused to refund any part of the rooms that were affected (even though they said they would when we checked out). Its a shame because the building is lovely but the inability to take any responsibility is shocking!

Hotel is very overpriced for the quality we received. Had no running water in one of the rooms and in the other room the water pressure was awful with cold water. Explained this to management who to be honest didn’t care and blamed it on the local area. The swimming pool was filthy and hadn’t been cleaned and the gardens were full of flies and mosquitos. Overall I would not recommend this hotel. There are some excellent hotels nearby which are in fact better value for your money!

C’était un pur bonheur de vivre ces quatre jours dans ce merveilleux Palazzo J’ai été très sensible à tous les détails La décoration avec des meubles de famille, le choix du tissus des fauteuils, la salle de bain avec son papier peint fleuri, les fresques dans la salle à manger, le petit déjeuner avec ses mets délicieux et variés spécifiques de la région, le jardin bien entretenu et sa piscine Notre diner a été une expérience culinaire passionnante grâce a votre talent et à vos explications J’ai apprécie que les lits soient faits durant le petit déjeuner et de revenir dans une chambre remise en état Ce sont des détails que l’on ne trouve que dans les grandes maisons et qui prouve que le résident est traité de la meilleure des façons J’espère pouvoir revenir bientôt et je souhaite rester plus longtemps Je vous remercie de votre exceptionnel accueil où on a le sentiment d'être un invité plutôt qu'un client

A lovely week exploring Puglia made all the more enjoyable by staying in this lovely tasteful Palazzo where we were made to feel so welcome. Everybody warm and friendly, excellent customer service, relaxing and very comfortable in our lovely first floor suite. Would love to return one day. Arrivate a Palazzo Donna Elisabetta dopo due ore di viaggio in auto, ci hanno accolte Elisabetta e il marito con un calice di Fiano gelato e tarallini pugliesi che abbiamo gustato al tramonto nel giardino. Le camere sono bellissime, tutte diverse, accoglienti, raffinate e curate in ogni dettaglio. Per non parlare delle sale da bagno. La cena si è svolta come in famiglia, nel salottino superiore, con piatti della tradizione. La colazione dolce e salata, con ingredienti di prima qualità e un caffè superlativo, ci ha dato lo sprint necessario per la tappa successiva del viaggio. Da non perdere il pasticciotto alla crema… crea dipendenza! Il soggiorno è stato perfetto ma troppo breve! Tornerò!

A destination hotel - go to Manduria while in Puglia, to stay in Palazzo Donna Elisabetta. The palace is stunningly beautiful- it has been restored with incredible taste and attention to detail. Wonderful homely Palazzo in Manduria, stunning murals decorating the walls and ceilings, very convenient central location with secure off street parking and the only hotel with lush Green gardens and space. Very friendly staff willing to help and it is owned and run by Donna Elisabetta herself. Delicious modest breakfast and very well designed pool area in the gardens. Rooms are spacious with high ceilings although lack the appointed finesse of a 5* hotel (e.g. no full length mirror or internal telephone) but that doesn’t detract at all from the stay. Highly recommended for the experience in this area.
