Amazing

Right on the beach, location can’t be beaten, price is worth it compared to other hotels “near” the beach. There wasn’t any view from the room but that’s fine! The room was modern, chic design, clean. Staff were attentive, friendly and respectful! Will definitely recommend and stay again when I visit Manly again.

First line on the beach. The beach is very beautiful and popular. The hotel is small but cozy. Delicious breakfast menu. The room is small, the service is good, but the cleanliness of the room is 3, there is dust on the curtains, the windows are dirty. In the bathroom, when taking a shower, water flowed into the corridor onto the carpet. Overall the hotel left a pleasant impression. Proximity to all cafes and shops. 10 minute ferry walk to Sydney city centre. There is also a supermarket in the area.

The location is It's really good. But the room is too small for families It is quite inconvenient to use. We recommend reserving 2 rooms for a family of 4.

Lovely old building with nice history. Carpets dated in bedroom and in need of a hood hoover in places. Linen was super nice as was the towels. Reception man very helpful. Needed to change room as the one allocated had the windows sealed so could not get fresh air Okish got the cost

Plenty of mixed reviews on this place and my experience was positive, however it is important to retain a sense of perspective when reviewing what you have booked, the hotel has a large sports bar complex on the ground floor that doubles up as a music / dance venue open until 3am which is frequented by masses of youngsters enjoying themselves. The food I had was decent, in particular the inclusive breakfast was excellent and I tried the full breakfast, poached eggs on sourdough and the avocado & alfalfa sprouts with tomato on sourdough. All 3 were delicious. Free bottomless coffee also a plus however i did have to pay extra for fruit juice which was not included. I did have a pizza one day which had been overcooked on the bottom and chips that were ordered were missed off but after a word with the manageress, these were replaced for free the next day I ate there. Beers / Service all fine and plenty of sporting action to keep my attention. Nice terrace out front with views of the water / beach. The bathroom was clearly a recent replacement and was walk in / wet room style with a rain shower- no problem here. Unfortunately the safe didn’t work and whilst staff were responsive when I mentioned it, housekeeping came straight away and acknowledged it was not operational. The issue was they didn’t sort it out, it was clearly a simple case of replacing the battery by removing the panel on the door, and I explained this to housekeeping every time but nothing was done :-(

The room was clean and modern, however very small. The noise from the pub/nightclub was overwhelming, and very little sleep was had.

The nightclub music from the bar goes until 3am and the rooms shake from the noise. Do not stay here if you would like to get any sleep. Disaster.

They don’t tell you the square footage - good choice. Maybe 22-24 sq. feet. Large curtain covering an entire wall. A view of the Manly foreshore? No, just a big, brick wall with four small colonial, perplex-sealed windows. So, the air-con. BIG PROBLEM. It’s a hot day is Sydney. Surprise – Summer in Australia. I try and set the room to maximum cool, maximum fan. It instantly jumps back up from 17 to 21 degrees on the thermostat. That sounds okay. But it’s not enough to compensate for the outside heat. I’m guessing the room is 27-28 degrees Celsius (80 Fahrenheit). I’m sweating. I’m not wearing clothes. Okay, checked. No actual fan power. Just Hotel HVAC. Failing under today’s temperature of 33.5 . The controller is gaslighting me. I’ve paid $270 for this room (Friday night). I have doubts I’ll be able to spend the night here. Nightmare fuel. Update: the room did cool down sufficiently, maybe they cranked the building settings, and the cool change that blew through around 6pm would have helped. I also spent a fair bit of time with my door opened-up to the corridor, which I imagine a lot of other hotel guests might prefer not to do. Yes, the dance music went to around 1:30-2am. It was . . . okay, not great. A few other notes: - The bed was just two singles put together. - The toilet seat was half unhinged – a bit of poo skiing this morning. - Not super clean: hair on the room chair, corners grotty. Breakfast was not too bad. So, yeah, great location.

Great location, just very noisy, Friday to Sunday , banging music all night to 4am…!!!! Crazy! Room nice but absolutely no storage at all for clothes??? Living out your suitcase for a week , not good!!! Staff seemed to not care most of the time , but they have an amazing location. Breakfast with the room very good, lots of choice and very well prepared and cooked.👌 Also road noise is terrible, road sweeper to start at 4.30 up and down then the bin men from 06.00….. every day 🫣 Same as manly is awesome 🙌🙌☀️👌

Room was very nice, great view of the beach with small balcony. Excellent location. The pub music was a little loud in the room. Could hear the base of the speakers. Other than that. A good stay

Great location, rooms are basic but functional and clean, good range in mini-bar. Music is loud downstairs on a weekend until 0200 so may not be best choice for young families. Right on the beach, Staff very helpful would definitely stay again
