YUCK! Put your hard earned money into something better. The place was disgusting. Hard, flat pillows; filthy blinds; food splatter on exterior of refrigerator; mold on bathroom ceiling; gaps around entry door frame and walls; electrical humming sound in bathroom wall.

This was a very strange place. No staff on site. You check in at a kiosk with a person on screen who could literally be any place on Earth. Room was okay. We wanted fresh towels but there was no one to ask and the kiosk person didn’t answer when we pushed the call button

Rooms were reserved for a group that was staying there in October. After reading the reviews on this site, was not comfortable in staying at the hotel but because of many festivals in the area there were no other hotels available. When I arrived I went to the office and there was no person in the office only a kiosk - when I pushed the button a women answered for the check in - she put on a screen a form to be completed by me with my personal information on the form, she asked if I wanted a queen or double bed then a key was pushed out of the machine. I was given a two bedroom room with a couch, table and bath sink in the first room and a very high bed in the other room (was not told that there were steps under the bed to get you on the bed), difficult to get into bed because of the height of the bed. Small bathroom with a walk in shower completed the room. There was a microwave, small refrigerator and an air fryer in the room - also a coffee pot that had no pot to make coffee . The room could use improvements but it was clean. They did not service the room during a 4 day stay. My room was directly overlooking the highway and traffic sounds were loud. Plenty of parking. I did need to check out one day early and I went to the kiosk to tell them that I was going to check out early - she told me that I needed to write an email to the owner to let them know that I was checking out one day early, wrote the email and have not heard from them so I don't know if I will be credited for the last day stay. As I understand from others hotels are now starting to use the kiosk system but it would be nice to have someone in-house to handle issues that would arise. If I return to that area will not stay there.

Lousy experience. Book a room with 2 beds for myself and my son. Got there went to the room and it smelled like a bar there was so much smoking it smell like smoke I smell like smoke walking into it. It says no smoking no pets that was not the case. Went back talk to the computer screen said she didn't have any more rooms I said fine I'll get another hotel. My son stayed in and talked to her on the screen and she said They had a single bedroom with a couch that fold out. While I was looking for hotels. I found this exact same room for $113 a night. Because there's no 1 to talk to we checked out I checked my bank account and I was debited $233 from my account staying in not the Because I couldn't sit in that room the smoke was so bad. I kind of told them about it they said tough Or that's what it balls down to. I think it's a sucky way to do business Won't be going back there. I suggest no-one stay there either. I go down once a year to the lost colony I will find another place to stay this was very convenient to get to the lost colony is right down the road. Sorry but you've lost a customer forever.

I only rated this a one star because zero was not an option. There is no one actually on site; all check in and customer service is handled via a kiosk staffed by a person in the Phillipines. I am in the middle of an 8 day stay. Every single day my keycard has failed to work and I've had to get a new one. Each time I was told that the keyward was "issued wrong" and that I would not have to deal with that again. Today, after she issued me a new keycard, I asked a lot of direct questions about why this was happening, after which she asked me to dump the keycard she had JUST given me and she then issued me a new one, stating that it would work for the remainder of my stay. I then asked point blank if they had a policy of only issuing one day keycards. I asked this multiple times and she never answered yes or no, so draw your own conclusions. I then asked for the manager, some guy named Ved. Of course, he was not available and wasn't going to be available, but I could email him. A minor additional complaint is that they do not tell you that they do not service the rooms during your stay.

The absolute worst place I’ve ever stayed. Cockroaches on the wall. No ac. I Immediately asked for different room. I received the exact same thing along with a smoke detector hanging from ceiling. I emailed and called several times. Nobody ever contacted me. I slept on a nasty couch sweating all night due no air flow in bedroom. Again I called and emailed. Nothing! But I did get a response after I left. An emailed bill! Do not stay here! Please!

We've stayed here before. Will never stay again. Check in was a machine that couldn't dispense the key. Management had to come from another location to activate a key. Two more times he had to come again because our key wouldn't work. Our room was fairly clean but poor lighting and uncomfortable beds. There is no management on the property and the guest staying next to our room was out of control most the night. Trying several times to open the locked adjoining doors, running and loud music. We had to beat on the door to send a strong message. Parking was terrible, some taking up 2 spots leaving others to park in the grass where there was poor lighting. This place needs a major upgrade and someone on the premises at all times. The location is good but thats about the only good thing I can say about this place.

We checked in using awful kiosk. Filthy carpet. Garbage under the bed. Stained, smelly bedsheets. Holes in walls. Stale smoky odor throughout room. The TV just had wires hanging from it, like it was hastily assembled by college kids in a frat house. There was a vehicle air freshener inexplicably hanging from a bedpost. Bugs and hair all over the bathroom. We left immediately and were still charged for the full value of our reservation, despite being in the disgusting room just long enough to take the photos for this review. No response from management despite numerous calls (“customer service” seems to run through the same remote company operating the kiosk). Do not fall for the “antique furniture, quaint hotel” shtick. It’s beat-up furniture, some of it quite modern and cheap, and the disgusting state looks to be the result of non-existent maintenance and hands-off management. Stay anywhere but here.

I would never stay at this establishment again. The property needs a total update and a good cleaning! Because we stayed Friday before Memorial Day the nightly rate was $$$$ and totally not worth half the charge. Then to top it off they don’t even have someone at reception to check guests in and out. You talk to someone in another country via a computer screen. The individual was very hard to understand and when I checked out I asked for a printed receipt and was told it would be emailed to me but I have yet to receive the promised email! I would recommend anyone considering this property to stay away!!!
