Great hotel and staff

Firstly, I did not stay there. I reserved two rooms for my visiting sisters and their husband and fiance. Due to a travel mixup, I had to add an extra day to one of the sister's trip. It added to a complete confusion with the reservations when their flight got canceled and wound up not showing for that extra day. That meant I would be stuck paying for the extra day(confusing, I know). I was perfectly willing to pay for the entire trip for my family. The Manager, Yone, never mentioned the extra charge and it never showed up. What a great experience for everyone involved. I can't say enough about the experience. My sister's family loved the suites, breakfasts, amenities. Kudos to the staff!

Hotel is only a year or two old and it shows! It was super nice and clean. Room was a different, more modern layout and was fun for a change! Has microwave and fridge in hidden cupboard in the room. TV has a huge adjustable back on it that's convenient. Lots of space in the king room. Amazing, huge breakfast that was one of the best I've had at a hotel (for free). Free parking. Only thing I would change is the curtains in the room (they could be better at blocking light).

I stayed at this property on July 6, 2023. I prepaid for the reservation using Chase Sapphire points. However, I was charged $140.72 on the credit card that I put on file for incidentals. I called the property multiple times. Each time the staff confirmed that I was accidentally charge twice for the room, that it was an error, and assured me that I would be refunded within five business days. However, the refund was never issued. I had to report the transaction as fraud with my credit card. This has been an extremely disappointing and time consuming experience. If you stay here, you may have to navigate similar situations. Due to this negative experience and the unreliability of the staff at the SpringHill Suites in Maple Grove, I will be avoiding all Marriot properties in the future.

This was a nice clean place to stay while we were in the area for a funeral. The bathroom was spacious, clean and had good lighting. The breakfast which was included in the price had a nice selection of both hot and cold food choices. The staff allowed us to check into our room early when we arrived. It was a good experience.

We just got home from a 5 night stay here. We had an issue at our other hotel and went over here and talked to Jessa Hultgren. She was awesome with her help. She got us all checked in in time to enjoy the delicious continental breakfast they offer. We will definitely be back.

I had a really lovely experience here with friendly people. I was supposed to get in sometimes early evening but ended up spending 7 hours at LAX trying to get out town for a work visit. I called them before I boarded my plane to find out if the check in was 24 hours and they said that it was but that there is a period around 2 am where they will check and probably count me as a no show. I finally got a flight to Minneapolis and got in at like 1 am, got my rental car, etc. showed up at the hotel and he was like “you are my late arrival! I knew you were coming and checked you in already.” It was a nice experience given that I spent my entire Sunday trying desperately to get on a flight to support work stuff the next day. If you’re a mask wearer it’s still weird. But that was Minnesota in general. I love that I live in LA county. Some comments - if you request house cleaning they don’t give you a new bag for your ice bucket but will take the old one. They don’t give you new coffee or creamer or anything which is really annoying. But it’s a pretty decent place. I felt safe and comfortable. You just need to understand you have to go to the front desk and ask for stuff that seems like basic hotel stuff. There was almost never coffee or cups in the breakfast area. I guess I still give this place five stars because there is a Starbucks in the parking lot and I’m on expense account and don’t want to eat breakfast with a bunch of people not wearing masks anyway…
