From the outside the hotel looks very old. The reception looks like Hempel's under the sofa: papers, folders and bottles scattered everywhere. Unfriendly and later from the invoicing overwhelmed staff. The plexiglass pane at the reception, which was probably hung up because of Corona, was full of fly droppings, the counter was smeared. There are carpets throughout the hotel that are probably decades old, also serve as skirting boards and are broken in many places. The bathroom was full of cobwebs. After removing various creepy-crawlies you had it at least to yourself. The toilet had definitely not been cleaned. The towels were stringy and tattered. The furniture must come from the last century and looks correspondingly shabby. Cables are poorly taped across walls. The window frame has probably never been cleaned. The breakfast was not refilled. If you were late, you were out of luck. Both coffee and all groceries were the cheapest you can buy. Dinner was ok and the hotel is in a very quiet location. All in all, way overpriced for what is on offer.
