The G Hotel Seashell

Just came back from a one night stay in the G hotel. The hotel is really nice, clean and with a relaxing vibe. It was our 10 years anniversary and we wanted to spend a relaxing vacation. We had a cabanna by the lagoon it was very clean a bit small but ok for a cabanna. The bathroom had a small extension with sky light and plants that gave a very nice vibe to the room. The beach was amazing , spacious and sandy. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. We wanted to do something crazy for the anniversary and with the help of mr Amir the hotel 's night manager we were able to come back with the pictures and memories we wanted. A special shout out to Mr Amir for going out of his way to help us. Regarding the restaurant and the food they were both amazing. Food was delicious with lots of varieties. Again it was a vacation to remember, the perfect place for a quick relaxing get away. Only draw back is that it is a bit too quiet for families with kids. Looking forwards to going there again.

Great hotel, quiet and comfortable The style of the entire hotel with the large swimming pools everywhere gives a great look to the place But there are major drawbacks in this hotel Without them it could have been one of the best hotels in Egypt for me Reception staff: The reception staff who work after midnight were completely unprofessional, and more than one strange and completely unprofessional situation happened from them Rooms: The cleanliness of the room was very good and the bathroom facilities were good The view from the room was great But the room is very small for two people and the bed (supposed to be a king bed), but the size of the bed was small compared to any king bed in any hotel I have went to But my biggest problem it was that the room did not have any corner or even a table to put the laptop for working, so it was a big problem Restaurant: It is equipped with many types of high-quality food and the food was delicious and the treatment of the chefs in the restaurant is beautiful But the service there is very very slow at breakfast and dinner Sometimes I had to wait more than 20 minutes for them to find an free table for me Although there are many staff in the place but the service is slow, Although with fewer guests at breakfast I thought it would be easier but the service was still slow as well Unfortunately, the hotel is great, but the hotel administration doesn't choose the staff they hire carefully.

It is a nice property with a lot of potential. Beautiful pool. We booked a Seaview room. When we first got there, we saw some construction material in front of our room while looking at the sea. We were told that they are just cleaning up and removing everything, but to my disappointment, the next day there was even more construction material and two huge tents that blocked the view to the sea. Apparently they were prepping for a wedding and they were building a huge stage on the beach to accommodate the wedding. Every day we would wake up to hammering and construction workers yelling at each other, giving instructions. Within three days, the stage was complete, and it was completely encased in privacy walls completely blocking the view to the sea. So we cannot see the sea from our room and also cannot see the view from the main areas. I complain to the GM and ask him why we were not told that there was going to be construction and the view is going to be blocked. He said he was sorry. Every complaint I had all he had to say was I am sorry. He offered me lunch to compensate, I told him I did not need lunch, I wanted the view to the sea that I booked and paid for. They offered to move us, I do not want to pack and unpack again, and also in order to move us away from all of this they would’ve had to move us far away to the other side of the resort and we would be very far from the reception and the dining areas. That was another important criteria I gave them when I booked the room is that I need to be closer to the reception area so moving me to another room away from all of this would put me very far from the reception. The hotel only apologizes as I’ve seen in previous poor reviews, but they never really improved their service. I will also say that , Service during the morning and evening buffet is poor. Although they have a lot of labor, they are not well trained so we are constantly needing to request simple things like water, coffee, please come and pick up the dirty plates and things like that. Basic things that they should have been trained to do. Of course , that goes back to the management who did not properly train the employees. Everything trickles from the top and apparently the top is not doing their job. I would not come back here again and would not recommend it.

Worst beach you can ask for full of rocks and far away from the rooms. Rooms have the worst views, just get a pool and dont bother with the seaview. Very rude staff and management, hotel lobby is full of club cars that fill the space yet you can park your car for 1 minute to pick up your family and your bags when checking out. Never coming back again.

I visited the hotel in August 2019, let me start by saying it’s not ready to be opened! And no one will help you unless you speak directly to the hotel manger! I knew it was soft opening! But it’s not ready at all! First of all let me start upon our arrival.. the front desk was rude and made us very nerves! They said they are out of baby cots! Second they said room dining service is open 24(it’s not) In fact there is no service at all at the hotel, restaurants do not even have menus! It takes forever to deliver anything to the room.. Wifi is not covered in some rooms! Room cleaning is not good! They do not have coffee machines in the rooms! And they do not even have adapters! I do not know how is it supposed to be a 5 star hotel! I would give it a 1 star motel! Stay away from this hotel and do not let the interior nor the exteriors fool you! Service is the worst!

I had an amazing experience at the G Spa. The massage was done with such expertise. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Hayam and Lydia were especially nice. I recommended the experience to my daughter and father in law they both enjoyed it. Loved my time at the spa this season:)

Massive hotel, with a lot of unexpressed potential. Beside the Rooms freezing at 10 degrees, the courtain that won’t close, the questionable breakfast buffet. Had a great sleep and a nice deep in the pool. I will be back for sure, but hopefully I won’t find my breakfast left outside the door 8 hours later with flies all over.

I loved that hotel so nice staff so friendly i did not go out i injoyed my stay, restaurants so nice. Thank you saif in lobby bar room service so fast food so good Rooms clean and pool also my kids have a lot of fun, i will com agin and recommend that hotel also i do not forget a restaurant on the beach Sea resto good service foid was frish and testy

Very Nice hotel specially the stuff, food is great, special thanks to Mr Kareem at the front lobby desk for helping us pick the best room and guide us for most popular attractions. over all its a great hotel best visit Thank you for your hospitality
