Dit was in één woord GEWELDIG. Vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer. Geweldig lekker eten. Zelfs toen wij een morning gamedrive gingen doen stonden ze voor ons klaar met koffie en een ingepakt vers ontbijt. De kamers zijn prachtig, goed verzorgd met een uitgebreide keuken ( die wij niet gebruikt hebben, vanwege het vele en lekkere eten bij Niel en Valerie. De dieren lopen zo de tuin in bij hen en dat is leuk om te zien en te ervaren. Ook de bushbabies om 18.00 uur die dan tevoorschijn komen. Wij hadden langer willen blijven, maar helaas. Echt een aanrader voor als je Krugerpark gaat bezoeken.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt bei Val & Neil. Die Lodge ist sehr modern und stylisch eingerichteten. Die Lage ist super. Direkt an einem kleinen See, man kann den ganzen Tag Warzenschweine, Kudus und Impalas beobachten. Das Frühstück und auch das Abendessen ist ausgezeichnet. Val & Neil gehen auf Wünsche ein und bereiten einem ein Festmahl zu. Sie kennen sich in der Gegend und der Natur super aus und sind bestens vernetzt. Aber das wichtigste ist, dass die beiden herzensgute Menschen sind. Man fühlt sich als wäre man zu Besuch bei der eigenen Familie, so wird man umsorgt.

The lodge, rooms, fireplace and pool were a real treat. Having a dam on the property was an experience too. The food was excellent and our hosts went out of their way to make it feel homely and the conversations were really interesting.

Val and Neil were quite welcoming. We enjoyed staying at their place which is conveniently situated close to the Kruger where they were also able to arrange a game drive for us. Val also assisted us with booking for our quad biking and shared information around other activities in the area with us prior to our arrival enabling to plan out our itinerary for the weekend. She was always available to answer any questions. The breakfast which was part of the package that we had selected was wonderful and we were also able braai as the place had everything we required for that. The place is clean and serviced on a daily basis. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying there again in the future.

Val and Neil are the perfect hosts. We had an amazing 4 days with them. With Val worrying that we arrived safely in the middle of the night, to meals being perfectly prepared and always hot. Neil entertained us with experiences in the bush, wonder walks in the wild and great conversation around a night fire, while he made the perfect meat braai. We can't wait to visit again. We are already missing Charlie the crocodile who responds to Neil's and Val's voice and is more obedient than our pets at home! The rooms are exceptionally clean, very comfortable and had nothing missing. What a beautiful place with amazing people.
