Rue Galilee

what a joy to stay at Rue Galilée, it felt like home away from home as soon as I entered, the warm welcome of Janne and his partner Sara, the lovely thoughtful decoration in every detail, the cozy atmosphere of my room, a divine mattress to sleep on !! All in all the perfect setting for my 5 day stay in Marseillan, a most charming little town. Janne and Sara were always helpful giving their insider tips and information, extraordinary breakfast every morning with fresh fruit and croissants or whatever one desired and not to forget a super Pizza night hosted by Janne with his amazing pizza oven. During my stay I enjoyed reading one of Sara‘s books, „Don’t dream it, do it“ her heart felt life changing story of settling in France. More books to read there about both their life stories… keep on writing Sara ! Anyhow, I will be back at Rue Galilée, that’s for sure !

What a great and welcoming place to stay. The location is great. A beautiful rustic property restored with character. A stroll away from gorgeous port with great restaurants. And the wonderful Thursday market in the centre. And Jan and Sara were perfect hosts. Best breakfast in town too.

Hotel was excellent. Very clean and spacious rooms for good value, and with good showers. Owners were very nice and breakfast was also delicious. The building has been modernised while keeping the original charm. Short distance to the port, and the ability to hire bikes to cycle to the beach was greatly welcomed. Would definitely stay again if returning to Marseillan.

We stayed here for a weekend when attending the wedding of our friends: the entire experience was magical from start to finish. The B&B is beautiful on the outside, like something from a fairytale, and equally stunning on the inside. The room we stayed in was fabulously comfortable and luxurious, with lots of space and every comfort we could want. The owner and his partner were wonderful, so friendly, welcoming and accommodating to every request or question we had. The breakfast was excellent and the bar downstairs was lovely too. Marseillan is a beautiful town, and I would be tempted to return just for the chance to stay here again.

Wonderful little five-room B&B in the heart of authentic residential Marseillan. Exquisitely renovated old house impeccably taken care of one by one by the former world-sailing Swede Janne. Heavenly comfortable beds, perfectly functioning AC and personalized breakfasts - you can not ask for more.
