A beautifully designed and appointed property in a great location. If you are travelling anywhere near Tamahere/Cambridge then this must be on your list of places to stay. The breakfasts use fresh ingredients taken from the beautiful garden. The host, Rekha, is amazing. She is very hospitable and makes you feel very comfortable in her amazing home. She is very helpful with all of the local places to visit and experience (particularly local restaurants). From Rekha's recommendation we visited the local National Cycling Velodrome (Avantidrome - free entry) and we walked along the river towards Hamilton - which has a brand new and well-designed cycling/walking path. Another recommendation we took up was Lake Karapiro, which is stunning, plus Hamilton Gardens - free, and beautiful. The whole experience was the highlight of our tour of the north island.

Cyclobe Giselle forced us to reroute parts of our trip due to inaccessibility of the Coromandel(Bay of Plenty-Area. We were lucky to have found this little gem and spent two wonderful days in this quiet, comfortable and clean lodge with a great host. Indeed, a great place to stay, even for a longer period.

Nice quiet place in the middle of a rural region. You get to know the owner over breakfast, while being served with a unique style of food. It was great!
