We stayed at the hotel in July 2024 and liked everything very much. Responsive staff, check-in and check-out did not take much time. At breakfast I was pleased with the abundance of fruits, and for dinner there were a lot of sweets. The breakfast and dinner menu is varied. Two beaches, a swimming pool, well-groomed green areas. Wonderful, relaxing holiday! The rooms are really tired, but this was not a problem. We really liked everything!

Great location, super views from the hotel, there is a great place for surfing nearby, the hotel itself is very pleasant and well-groomed area, nice clean pool! Excellent breakfast and dinner!
I liked everything except the beds in the rooms! Mattresses need to be changed! Detox cribs are not very comfortable!

I went with my family and two other families. We booked the Seaview Quadraple room. We were late to check-in. The location is amazing and unique as you can see both the Sunrise and Sunset on the beach. We missed the sunset but had the opportunity see the beautiful sunrise. Be early and don't miss the sunset if you are staying only for one night. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The quadruple room with the upstairs were excellent and was ideal for us who had two grown up kids. Rooms were clean and the property overall was well maintained. Food was tasty but the buffet spread could have a bit more variety. Kids had plenty of activity on beach and pool. The beach is excellent with the rock barrier. The view from the restaurant is super with the rocks and waves with mini rock pools of water with a variety of fish. Value for money was excellent. Overall our stay was excellent and we would come again and recommend to any of our friends.

Surrounded by the southern sea breeze gives the perfect location. Warm welcome from the staff and our room has a nice beach view, it’s like an apartment type, not a typical hotel room. Pool is fantastic which is next to beach. Near to pool have indoor play area and the main restaurent. Foods were exceptionally good. We experienced some new tastes. You can have a nice view at the top of the restaurent floor. The special thing about this property is surrounded by the ocean.

Really nice location, starting from the front office very good customer service provided. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was great too.. Mainly need to mention F&B manager Mr Tharanga Atauda is a very professional individual, he has been very helpful for us and well looked ofter our needs. Thank you Sir. Gorgeous property with breathtaking to view,Their welcome was amazing it made our day,and the view from the Room was soul satisfied,The food was amazing and with gorgeous view,clean pool amazing 2 side beach made this property extra ordinary,we truly loved each and ever moment spending here

Loved every bit of our stay here! The staff and especially the manager Ayubowan were exceptional with their hospitality and service. It was my birthday and they went above and beyond to make it extra special for me. The location of the property is out of the world, one of our best throughout the trip. The food was amazing too. Worth every penny spent. I highly recommend staying here and I hope I get to visit again soon! Thank you!! ❤️

My experience at Dickwella Resort and Spa was extremely disappointing. The rooms were poorly maintained with unclean surfaces and a dirty water closet. Mirrors had a strange red outline, giving a disturbing vibe. The treatment we received was subpar; the restaurant manager, Tharanga, was outright rude, possibly because we booked through Agoda. They even gave us a band that seemed to mark us as Agoda guests, although no one else wore theirs. The low rate we paid should not justify such poor treatment and accommodations. Tharanga's unprofessional behavior was evident when he came with us talking to someone on his phone and somehow it was aimed at us he faked the phone call so he know we hears it saying I don't want to give you glasses like its his property. It felt like he brought them from home rather than serving guests in a professional manner. Even if the hotel offered us a month of free all-inclusive stay, I wouldn't return. I've stayed at hotels with lower rates that provided significantly better service. It was unsettling to see the restaurant manager and staff casually eating at the buffet table alongside guests, which felt unprofessional. If the hotel dislikes guests who book through Agoda, they should consider removing themselves from that platform altogether. This was undeniably my worst hotel experience

Washroom in the family duplex room was in a very pathetic situation. It was old and broken; Doors and other wood were broken. Sink was old and sink area was untidy. Floor of the washroom was also had cracks and broken. We couldn't use this and we were using other standard room washroom which was in a better state comparatively. But in that room we couldn't close the washroom doors (It was not lockable). Water was not clearing from the drainage system in the washroom and water was staying in the washroom. Dustbin in the washroom was very old and it was not opening and it was disgusting to touch it. A/C in the family duplex room was leaking from the time we entered the room. When we informed it was repaired once, and it started leaking water again in the night. It made a pool of water in the room around the bed. Floor of the room was wet and it was always slippery. Seems water was coming through sand through the floor. Steps to the upper floor was broken and it was risky to go up. Hence we couldn't use the upper floor of the room. We had to pay additional amount for the family duplex room each night but we couldn't use the upper floor and even the washroom of the room. When we requested for room change on 2nd day morning even with downgrade we were refused saying hotel is full and no rooms to change. But on the 2nd day night (9 pm) when we told we will make complain we were offered another room. General concerns: When we requested for baby feeding chair we were told only one chair is available for the entire hotel/ restaurant. Hence 2 kids had to sit in mothers lap and eat. But on the 2nd day we saw 2 chairs.

However, we were deeply concerned about your comments where you had inferred that many points specially in your room which was your expectation was not filled out during your stay. we know that hotel rooms are bit old and we have done the renovation last few years back and attending daily jobs to maintain our room standard. specially most of the family rooms bathrooms works similer setup like this. but we are going to renovate all the family room bath rooms in proper way and morden type with more amenities. Our top management has been decide to start the renovation on begining of this month. also We will take necessary action to improve room condition and other areas that you pointed in your reveiew. like wise room cleaning / A/C / baby chairs and other things. actually there was full house situation on both days hence we couldn't offer any room change for your request. not even that we got the feedback from our house keeping and maintenance department that they have fix the A/C in proper way. during the evening time we had early departure room and once they left we made that room for any booking inquire. when you made a complain again then we offered that room for you with avalibility of that time. also we will stricly look into baby chair issue waht was at the resetaurant during your meal time. Please accept our sincere apologies for all inconveniences experienced and for any failures or lapses in meeting your expectations. Our stay at this beachfront resort was truly remarkable, offering one of the best beaches with breathtaking views. The natural beauty of the coastline and the serene ambiance made it a perfect getaway. Wonderful location,Friendy staff,Spaces Room,well clean & tidy Room,Food was good ,enough drinking complementary water,sufficient tea coffee aminite acceptable bathroom aminities,well maintenace room,the breakfast buffet was international buffet,dinner spread was excellent,the restaurant staff & chefs were polite & they were always can do attitude.the resturant lower deck as a beautiful sea wiew that I don't think any other hotel will have sea view like this.

The beds are so comfy, mattresses that make you want to stay in bed all day. The food was delectable, great spread to choose from, not forgetting the friendly & warm service of the staff. Keep it up DR&S. My first expeerience & looking forward to return ❤️
