The hotel manager is a great guy, ready to help with any issue, such as accommodation, excursions, etc., for which respect to him. I definitely recommend the hotel.

On the beach next to the hotel we got bored on the second day. Therefore, we took a tuk-tuk to the nearest beaches - Mirissa (excellent infrastructure, big waves, I recommend for active recreation), Talalla (on the contrary, a secluded beach, a huge sandy beach *****, a couple of beach cafes, there are also waves), Unawatuna (an excellent beach without large waves have good infrastructure, but it seemed to me very noisy and crowded) The biggest advantage of the hotel is the staff, they treat you like the most valuable guest, they try to please and solve any of your questions. Romal surrounded us with care from the very first day, helping us with almost everything. He organized a return transfer for us at a reasonable price, fulfilled our small requests (we constantly went to the supermarket, then to the beaches, then on excursions, recommended an inexpensive store with tea, we stocked up great there and it was inexpensive) The food at the hotel was quite tolerable, simpler breakfasts, dinners better. Dinners are not a buffet, there is a choice of 5 types of menu. The rooms are simple but clean, I liked the large balcony with the necessary furniture. I would also like to note the presence of a normal air conditioner and ceiling fan. There is a good swimming pool. The disadvantage for us was the distance from the supermarket and any shops. At the time of our stay, Russian tourists began to actively come, the main contingent of vacationers being Russians. The result is an excellent budget hotel, but it depends on what purpose you are traveling for and keep in mind the nuance regarding transfer from Colombo

My husband and I rested in this hotel. The hotel is located in the suburbs of Matara, about 10 minutes by tuk tuk from the city itself. We ate everything in the hotel restaurant very tasty! We bought shrimp, the hotel chef prepared tuna for a fee. The rooms are spacious with a large balcony overlooking the garden. The room has air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a TV (though it was never turned on), an electric kettle, tea bags, coffee, cream. Two bottles of water every day. Cleaning upon request if you leave the key at the reception and tell them to clean up. Many thanks to all the hotel team, especially the manager Ramal! Just returned from a holiday at this hotel. Not everything is perfect, but there are great advantages! The sea is a stone's throw away, the reef breaks the waves, it's comfortable to swim. You can see a turtle, fish and other living creatures. Nice clean pool and friendly staff. Romal simply became our friend! Always ready to help and solve any problems! Just a dear father! The area is small but pleasant, there are always a lot of birds among the greenery. Of the minuses, there is no refrigerator, there are no shops nearby. It's about 10 minutes by tuktuk to civilization. But that's a plus. Not many people, quiet.
