Lovely helpful staff. Great location with secure parking and only 10/15 mins walk to the centre as long as you are prepared for a steep uphill walk with steps for the return journey. Pool area clean and quiet and a welcome relief for afternoon heat. Breakfast is primarily cold simple continental style. No hot options. Aircon ok; seemed to blow in cycles rather than continuously. Main criticism is the strong toxic fragrance used. Was informed it was fragranced cleaning products and we kept doors open on 1st day which was a nuissance in hot August weather but the smell was giving headaches and congestion. Took 2 days to leave bedroom. We didnt have room cleaned on 2nd day as smell was still there. We had also asked the lovely girl on reception that the fragranced products not be used which she duly noted. By the 2nd evening it had all but gone from the bedroom but unfortunately it is used throughout the corridors and the smell permeates. It hits you when you enter the building especially hallway and stairwell. Smell reminded me of the shop Lush ! If you are allergic/intolerant / migraine triggered by strong air freshener type fragrances then I would avoid this hotel which is a shame as it is a lovely boutique hotel.

Ideale ligging van het hotel om te voet het imponerende Matera te bezoeken. Uitermate vriendelijke medewerkers die bereid zijn je overal mee te helpen en die je gastvrij te woord staan. Sfeervol ingerichte kamers die van alle comfort voorzien zijn. Hotelgasten kunnen gratis van parking, wifi en zwembad gebruik maken.

Abbiamo deciso di passare un giorno e mezzo a Matera , in transito dal nostro viaggio in auto , per attraversare l’Italia. Questo hotel è stato scelto apposta lontano dai sassi , che poi non è così lontano. Una passeggiata di 15 minuti e si è tra o sassi di Matera. L’hotel ha un parcheggio privato , una piccola piscina , un bel giardino ma soprattutto ubicato in una zona tranquilla che ha reso perfetto il nostro sonno . Accoglienza eccellente, tutti molto gentili e professionali . Bella ed ampia la stanza con tutti gli accessori utili per il nostro soggiorno. Buona e varia la colazione. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Se devo tornare a Matera , vengo qui . 📍 La Rosa dei venti MI 😎

Très bon accueil, avec une chambre très jolie et calme ainsi qu'une piscine très agréable ainsi que ses abords ombragés après une journée de marche. Un très bon petit-déjeuner. L'hotel est très situé à proximité de la vielle ville qui est accessible à pied.

Hotel agréable, très calme. Le personnel fait tout pour que le séjour se passe bien, et nous explique le tour de la vieille ville à effectuer. Petit déjeuner ok Parking dans l'hôtel. Seul bémol: les lits sont très durs, comme souvent en Italie

Très joli petit hôtel très bien situé à deux pas de la ville dans un quartier très calme avec une place de stationnement . L'accueil est absolument remarquable du grand professionnalisme . La chambre était magnifiquement décorée avec goût. Le petit-déjeuner était très varié. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cet hôtel. Le site de Matera est un endroit magnifique!
