Great basic hotel that could use a little loving.
I love the Nikunj Ashram. It is my go-to place to stay in Vrindavan. Excellent location with all basic needs met. They are in the middle of renovations and cant wait to see the end result. This is perfect for those who want a good place to sleep and are trying to go out to see Vrindavan and the surrounding areas. I would recommend it for those who want a affordable spot next to Krishna Balaram temple. Especially for those trying to catch Mangala Aarti.
The one thing preventing a full five stars is around the cleanliness of the space; particularly the walls. I noticed a lot of stains on the wall that have accumulated over time. A little time, effort, and a cloth could go a long way to showing care for the building.
Will likely return here if I find myself back in the heart of Vrindavan!

Overall it as a good experience but some construction work was going on, which causes some problems, also room was average, in bathroom most of items were rusty. Staff behaved very well and polite mannner.

My stay at Nikunj Ashram was fantastic! The rooms were clean, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful specially Manager Rishabh. He was easy to reach and helpful. He guided and helped me throughout the stay.
The location was perfect for exploring the city. It is near the Iskon temple. The night view from the terrace is great. Specially Prem Mandir. The best thing its located near parikrama marg, near pujya Premanand Maharaj aashram.
The staff opened the door at 2 am.

I have booked the room for three people but they gave small room without extra bed. There was no TV in room and water in toilet was salty it ruined our hair while talking bath.

The room was smelling of a possible dead rat. Hotel staff was not cooperative when asked to either clean the room or change the room. Poor quality material provided in toiletries. Terrible experience over all. Would not recommend to anyone.
