Lovely little town and the hotel is nearby stores. There's also ample place for cars. Staff was friendly and was also able to accommodate the preference of a quiet room. The room itself was spacious, clean, equipped with enough shelf space and sitting opportunities. Free WiFi which worked well and overall a very pleasant stay.

Ein nettes Hotel,schöne große Zimmer.Das Personal war sehr freundlich und nett.Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Die Lage des Hotels ist auch sehr gut,nicht weit zur Seilbahn und es liegt an Anfang vom schönen Virgental. Ich würde dieses Hotel gerne weiterempfehlen.

No access to sauna
They close reception at 8:00 PM
You only get one key for the room … so there is zero flexibility for your vacation
No gym
I would save my money and find another place to stay in, there are plenty around the area

Staff cordiale e gentile. Stanza ampia e calorosa. Ottima colazione con ampia scelta tra dolce e salato. Ambiente suggestivo e molto tranquillo circondato da bellissime montagne. Possiblità di meravigliose escursioni nelle vicinanze.

Gute Unterkunft mit großen Zimmern und guter Ausstattung. Im Mountain Style. Sehr Aufmerksames und hilfsbereites Personal. Lage Nähe Talstation, ideal für Skifahrer, in den Ort läuft man 15min. Die Sauna ist auf einer Terrasse und gut für zwei schnelle Durchgänge. Im Winter allerdings kein Ruheraum oder Dusche verfügbar

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön, die Zimmer sind sauber, groß und geräumig. Balkon mit Bergblick. Zur Gondel sind es 5min Fußweg, dank dem Skidepot direkt an der Talstation, perfekt! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Verbleven in het nieuwgebouwde appartementencomplex in Matrei. Appartement is goed uitgerust en van alle comfort voorzien. Terras biedt uitzicht op enkele indrukwekkende Alpenbergtoppen. Op een kwartier A half uur rijden ben je bij de mooiste wandelroutes die park Hohe Tauern te bieden heeft. Bedden en kussens zijn geen toppers maar kunnen er mee door. Receptie is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Vom check-in über die Zimmer und den Restaurants bis hin zum check-out ist alles sehr gut und sehr empfehlenswert. Die Zimmer sind schön geräumig und haben ein separates WC. Ebenso das Restaurant im Hotel und die Alte Mühle sind einfach nur zum Weiterempfehlen. Das war sicher nicht mein letzter Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel, ich komme wieder!
