It's a very Japanese-style hot spring hotel. You can take a bath and it's very clean. The only thing I'm not used to is asking for slippers when entering the door. We loved this hotel. Room size is above average for Japan and it is clean and modern with nice bathroom. Unlike other Japanese business hotels, the bathroom here had a separate shower/bath room from the sink and toilet so it was spacious. The breakfast buffet was really great with ample choices of western and Japanese foods. Location is nearby train station (and many other hotels). The only downside was that the hotel had switched to winter heating system so the only way to cool the room was to open the window. Definitely would stay there again if in Matsue.
