As a hotel to use while traveling, I was very satisfied with the food and the location. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

Although it is an old hotel, it is cleanly maintained and was comfortable to use. The staff are also very friendly. The location is a bit high, so it may be difficult for older people to walk.

Nice hotel with a bit of character. As a Brit I was wary of what kind of atrocities might lie in wait at "Old England", but it was very tastefully done, and probably at no little expense! The room was tasteful and clean, nice design, dinner was as good as can be expected of a hotel fixed menu. Breakfast? Well, it was no full English, but no major gripes here either. Wouldn't mind staying her again. Would give it a 4.5 if I could.

It was a large hotel with an antique British atmosphere. The exterior, common areas, and interior were all lovely, and there was a hot spring. The staff were very friendly and I was very satisfied. It was close to the downtown area, but there was a steep hill (downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back), so it was good exercise.

When we arrived at the hotel, we left our car keys there and had our luggage carried to the front desk, where we were shown to our room after check-in. From the entrance surrounded by antiques, to the elevator, corridors and rooms. It was a nice, calm space. We were impressed by the friendly staff, which was more than we could have hoped for for the reasonable price. It wasn't too far from the main building, so we headed straight to Asuka no Yu upon arrival, the hotel's hot springs in the evening, and Tsubaki no Yu in the morning, so we enjoyed the hot springs to the fullest. We ate dinner near Asuka no Yu and had breakfast at the hotel, with a choice of Western or Japanese food, which was delicious. After checking out, we had Matsuyama sea bream rice, Uwajima sea bream rice and a tart before heading home. This hotel felt like it was worth more than its price. One thing that bothered us was that the toilet in our room made a loud noise when flushing, which was bothersome. It was disappointing that the ventilation fan in the large public bath made a strange noise so we couldn't relax in it for a while

We had decided to have ``Kurumasushi'' for dinner, but the convenient hotels in Matsuyama weren't great considering the size of the city, but we realized that staying overnight at a Dogo inn wasn't a logical option. This is one of the few options that is a complete hotel, but also has a large hot spring bath inside. It seems to be cheaper on weekdays when business travelers are welcome, but on the day before a holiday, even in December, the prices are higher than hotels in the city. When it first opened, there were many comments that praised the unusual business format, and I remember Hisashi Kashiwai praising it highly, but over the years, the British-style interior has become outdated, and the basic facilities are inferior to modern standards. . I would like to see a decent American brand expand into the city.

I was able to understand the details of the hotel by using the Matsuyama Discount, and the Dogo Onsen was also good, so I would like to use it again when I stay at Dogo again. The Japanese set meal for breakfast was so delicious that I wanted to have lunch as well. was delicious.

Why is it in the UK even though it is Dogo Onsen? Book to explore its wonders. The guest room is a semi-double room, so it's a little small at 18 square meters, but it's completely British with William Morris wallpaper! The furniture is also completely British. I almost forget I'm in Dogo. A refrigerator, electric kettle, tea set, and air purifier are also available. The bathroom is a small unit bath, but there is a large bath so it is not a problem. Amenities include toothpaste sets, razors, and brushes. In addition to shampoo and conditioner, we also have a full lineup of hand soap, shaving foam, lotion, cream, and more. The hot water in the public bath comes from Dogo. Mild hot water. There is a small open air in the back, but there is no view (=_=) There was also a sauna, but it wasn't hot due to a mistake by the staff. Dinner is a full course French meal. I wasn't expecting much, but the food was decent and tasted good. The wine was also plentiful and I was satisfied. However, I chose Japanese food for breakfast, but it was not delicious. Is miso soup, let alone rice, less than instant? Would it have been better to choose Western food? Check-out is at 12:00, so you can go to the Dogo Onsen main building in your yukata. You can also rent baskets and towels. It was at a time when most of the staff were trainees, so it was not possible to evaluate them.

It's a beautiful and cute hotel. Located in the center of Dogo, convenient for walking around town. The parking lot is valet parking, so if you have to pull in and out frequently, you'll be disappointed. You can also enjoy breakfast in peace. The hot springs are clean and have a variety of amenities, and they even provide towels, which is helpful. The staff at the front desk and parking lot were calm and had good customer service. I think there were some things the facility was unfamiliar with as various systems such as travel support coupons had changed, but I was impressed with the young female staff who worked so hard to help. I made a reservation for two people, but they only had towels for one person, so I contacted the front desk and they responded immediately. Although it is not what you would call a ``Dogo hot spring inn'', the atmosphere was nice. However, after all, Dogo is England? As an old woman, I thought it would be even better if there was something that would better integrate these aspects.

I have visited Dogo Onsen many times for work and private purposes, but it has been about 40 years since my father took me there when I was in elementary school. The hotel is located a little up a hill from the Dogo main building from the station and bus terminal, and is a little difficult to find, with accommodations and downtown areas mixed together. If you are using a car, the surface parking lot is small, so you will have to leave the key with the staff and have them move you. A fee of 800 yen per car is required. After checking in at the Western-style lobby front desk, I went to my room. I took a double room on the third floor. Although the guest rooms are about the size of a standard business hotel, they have a luxurious feel, perhaps thanks to the heavy wood furniture. The bathhouse can be accessed from the entrance next to the front desk, and towels are available in the changing room. There is a large indoor bath, an open-air bath, and a high-temperature sauna, but the open-air bath was under construction on that day (I didn't hear about it) so you couldn't use it, and there was a lot of construction noise coming from behind the seats until around 6pm. , this is where points were deducted. This time, there were 6 people staying for work, so dinner was a banquet meal in a private room, so I don't know the usual dishes, but I had breakfast at the restaurant with other guests, so I think it was very good. At check-in, you can choose between Western and Japanese food, and I had the Japanese food, but there were so many side dishes that I had to replace the rice. Decent staff will serve you food and drinks. Most of the staff at the restaurant and at the front desk were young, polite and refreshing. Although it may lack a bit of the traditional Dogo feel, I think it is a suitable facility for girls' gatherings and couples. Thank you a lot for your hospitality.

The lobby is decorated with antique furniture, and has an exotic atmosphere that you wouldn't expect from Dogo Onsen. The room is a non-smoking twin room with a size of 33 square meters. The large public bath is on the 1st floor and draws water from Dogo Onsen. Dinner and breakfast are served at the restaurant "King of Dining" on the 1st floor. From early in the morning, you can receive a basket of outdoor bath sets (bath towels, face towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap) at the front desk, put on sandals, and go to the outdoor baths.
