I am a Choice Hotels Diamond Rewards member - their highest level. I am guaranteed early check-in, late check-out, an elite gift when checking in and other nice bonuses. I knew that for my stay I would be finished with work early and arriving at my hotel early, so I chose this business for my early check-in benefit. The hotel refused to give me an early check-in even when I showed them I was a Diamond member. Ended up waiting in my car until 4 PM. I have had other hotels actually have a made drop what she was doing to prpep me a room, but this Comfort Inn did not care to honor the rewards program. Certainly this big empty hotel had one clean room. No elite gift when checking in either. I am so disgusted with this hotel. Obviously I stay at Choice Hotels often enough to move to the top of their rewards program, but they do not alue their customers.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got there to check in, with my reservation, and they said they did not have a reservation for me. I showed it to them, through the Choice website. After a whole hour, and talking to Choice twice (My reservation shows up on Choice Corporate, just not the property) I left and went to another property. I will NEVER try to stay here again! The manager (the front desk called them twice, as well as Corporate. She would not budge. I know it was because she didn't want to honor the rate I had. Bad business. VERY BAD BUSINESS!!!!!!! GREED! I hope everyone sees how she runs business here. She was very rude to the Corporate office as well. Sad!

Do not do it, they charged me for an extra night due to they did not recorded my check out on time! None is picking up the calls to correct the bill, room smell terrible to smoke, dirty bed sheets. It was just terrible!

Walking in I noticed many families lounging in the lobby, so I initially thought it was a good place to stay; boy was I wrong. The families lounging were actually families that seemed to be living there for quite some time and were extremely comfortable with their children running the halls and causing ruckus everywhere. It is not a place I'd recommend staying at for more than 1 day and if no other places are available. The price was also steep for the service that was provided and the upkeep of the hotel itself. Breakfast was mediocre. Rooms smell like smoke. Spend the extra money to stay somewhere else if you can.

Pro: the room was clean Con: dated, check in area smelled of smoke, slowest elevator ever where we just took the stairs, breakfast was disappointing and I would say inedible It was fine for one night, but I would not recommend to a friend nor go back They have "quiet hours" but because it's an older building we could still hear music or conversations.

We were going to an event in So Chicago, so this location was ideal for us. Unlike other reviewers, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was a little smaller but clean, comfortable, and very quiet. We did not need use the internet on this visit. Breakfast was the usual selections and quite good. I would like to see the addition of grab bars in the tub area.

This is the only hotel I've ever been in without Internet, not when I visited anyway. The staff bent over backwards to avoid helping with this. In every other respect they were super cool and nice, but the price is a bit steep considering. Life without Internet sucks almost as much as American TV. Very cosy room though and charming staff.
