I gave it four stars because it has a free child care center called The Nest.
The hotel is very new, very close to the airport but far from the market. It usually takes more than 20 minutes to go out to eat.
The beach is great, as is the pool. The gym also has yoga and tai chi classes. Breakfast is not very to our Asian taste~

Perfect! It is very close to Mauritius International Airport. It is very convenient to drive to the hotel after we arrive at the airport at about 5 o'clock after eating. Anantara is a very beautiful resort. Decor is top notch and comfortable. The staff provides excellent service and assistance is always available. The resort is a beach front property with a lot of activities. This property is amazing and you won’t go wrong by choosing it. Yusef , Cintia, Karim, Sharonne, Paul, and many more of the staff ( I’m bad with names) , will attend to all your needs.

Très bel établissement offrant de magnifiques chambres - belle variété de restaurants - un spa juste magnifique et d’excellents thérapeutes - superbe plage à l’infini - sans doute une des plus belles de l’île - nous étions à l’hôtel 10 minutes après notre sortie de l’aéroport - un must - aucune nuisance lié à ce dernier - on a adoré cet Anantara

This is the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. The management is unorganised, the food sucks, and the rooms are extremely subpar for their price. I arrived at 8am and asked for an early check in but they told me my room wasn’t ready till two which I understand. They didn’t give me my room till 3:30! I was sitting in the lobby for an hour and a half for my room to be ready. Then when I finally get in the room the floor was a mess, the tub had a leakage and half the amenities were missing! They make the hotel look really nice from all the pictures you see online but if you actually come here you will experience how horrendous this hotel actually is. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY!!! Do not want anyone else to have to go through what I went through this past week.
