Quel bonheur de prendre le petit déj face à l'océan, plage privée magnifique avec vue sur le Morne. Le buffet du soir excellent ou nous avons pu decouvrir les plats locaux, merci au chef😁 c'était délicieux. Pour finir mention spéciale pour le personnel qui a été très attentionné tout au long de notre séjour. Pour nous le meilleur hôtel du sud ouest.

It’s a good, quiet hotel, it has its own beach, a restaurant with a view of Mount Le Morne, the food is decent, there’s enough breakfast and dinner, there’s parking, the rooms are cleaned regularly, there’s a cat family with 3 kittens living on the premises. booking with a MIR card is no problem, for the money it’s a pretty decent option, if you have a car, the location is very convenient for traveling to the main attractions and tours

If you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle, then this is the place for you. A small and cozy hotel surrounded by greenery. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is ordinary, you won’t go hungry, alcohol and water are paid, order from the menu. Beach towels are available for a fee.
There are no cafes or restaurants near the hotels, no shops, 10 minutes walk from the main road. The location will be convenient if you plan to see the sights of the southern or western part of the island.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour (5 nuits) à La Mariposa. Accueil chaleureux de tout l'équipe. Nous avions la chambre n° 1 avec une vue mer, grande chambre, avec kitchenette et douche à l'italienne, bien équipée et propore. Nous avons pris la demi-pension, le soir buffet simple tout est très bon avec toujours un plat mauricien et international (pâtes ou pizza). Buffet de desserts. Petit déjeuner copieux, j'aurai aimé un peu plus de produits locaux (confitures et fruits). Hôtel idéalement placé avec une jolie plage, vu sur le Morne et de magnifiques coucher de soleil. Un grand merci à tout l'équipe de La Mariposa et c'est avec plaisir que nous y reviendrons.

L'hôtel est situé en bord de plage Belle chambre vue mer avec panorama sur le Morne. Formule demi pension, cuisine tout à fait correcte (surtout le petit déjeuner) La plage est un peu tristounette et la région de tamarin/rivière noire ne vaut pas le détour, mais l'hôtel n'y peut rien

Déçu je suis partie 2jours avant la fin de ma réservation et me suis dirigé vers un autre hôtel (460€)depensé en plus mais pas possible de rester .Oublié à l’accueil le jour de notre arrivée les clients arrivés après nous sont conduit à leurs chambres et nous on attend il a fallu que je leur demande si ça allait être encore long pour qu’il s’occupe de nous .petit déjeuner très réduit et le carton immense pour le petit déjeuner des sotie pain beurre pomme 🍏(BOF) jus de pomme (en fait il faut aimer les pommes)Travaux donc on nous refuses l’accès au petit déjeuner en terrasse face à la mer mais 1/4d’heure plus tard d’autres vacanciers s’y installe et là pas de soucis on ne les déloges pas (tout se fait à la tête du client vous plaisait c’est bien sinon tant pis pour vous )Pas de pain frais donc on se rabat sur du pain de mie (impossible de la veille donc trop sec )une fois votre petit déjeuner fini au bout d’environ 1/2h on vient vous dire que le pain a été livré .quand à la chambre j’ai rarement vu aussi sale . Seule la vue de cette hôtel en vaut la peine mais malheureusement ce n’est pas ce qui fait l’hôtel j’aurais préféré ne pas avoir la mer au pied de l’hôtel et être un peu considéré en tant que client voir en temps qu’humain .

Très bonne situation de l'hôtel et chambre très spacieuse. Restaurant les pieds dans l'eau très abordable et pratique. Très beau buffet petit déjeuner avec crêpes, omelette... Un bémol pour le service de petit déjeuner à emporter pour les départs en activité tôt . On aimerait beaucoup pouvoir choisir ce que contient la boîte pour l'adapter à nos habitudes de petits déjeuners et y prendre plaisir plutôt que d'avoir l'impression d'être puni:( Peu d'initiative pour satisfaire le vacancier quand on a une demande en ce sens. Je recommande l'emplacement, le calme et la vue.
