It was our first visit to Zillertal/Mayrhofen but hopefully not the last. We are so happy with our choice of hotel which we found by reading reviews. It suited us perfectly. The Juniorsuite Post room was a decent size for us and the cleaning worked perfectly, always fresh when we came back after the day's hikes. The food was excellent throughout the day, everything from breakfast to lunch and dinner. We had the same waiter six days out of the week and he was very attentive and service minded and contributed to making us feel so good. The wine cellar was fantastic and one of the highlights of the week was that we had the opportunity to participate in a short wine tasting with a visit to the wine cellar. Next visit, we hope to participate in a longer one to be able to share Willis' skills. We even have to come back soon to have time to try the SPA, which we didn't have this time as there was so much we wanted to experience in Zillertal! The only thing I can complain about is that there was a lot of smoke coming into our room from the outdoor dining area. A search shows that 25% of Austrians are daily smokers, while only 6% of the Swedes are. We simply do not like smoke. All in all it is a wonderful hotel in every way and we hope to return no later than the next summer!

What a fantastic hotel! Absolutely brilliant location; walking distance (150m?) between the two main lifts either side of the valley. Superb food (fab chef) and very attentive and smiley waiters and waitresses. Our room had been recently renovated and was no less than stunning. Beautiful deep bath (plenty of hot water) and a separate rain shower and normal shower too; plus his and hers sinks. Lovely super king double bed that was super comfy. Warm room with plenty of space and places to dry clothes. Good boot room with heated boot racks. Skis could be stored here and the room was locked overnight. The whole hotel was clean and a complete delight. The only criticism would be the very loud bar next door, however I had read about the bar on here prior to travelling and took earplugs, which did the job! Overall I loved this hotel and would definitely come back again. Thankyou to the team at the Brucke. 😀

Enjoyed such a warm and welcoming stay in Mayrhofen. With a great location, Glück Auf was very clean and comfortable accommodation, with a lovely breakfast every morning and incredibly kind service. I'm the oddball who visited in winter and doesn't ski (my husband does), so, while perfectly contented to hang out in our cozy and well-appointed room or just walk through town, our hostess offered me literature on activities and suggestions for hikes--and I'm so pleased she did! Experienced one of my most memorable and meaningful hikes in the near vicinity and will always be grateful for her above-and-beyond thoughtfulness, truly ensuring that both of us felt at home and enjoyed our stay. Would happily return to Glück Auf!
