Me gustó el servicio, los empleados muy atentos. Las actividades que hacían en la alberca muy entretenidas y la chica (Darinka) que las organizaba era muy agradable, en todo momento procuraba que estuviéramos cómodos.

When we arrived they couldn’t find our reservation. Finally after 15 minutes they find it. We ask for towels to use at the pool. They say they didn’t have any but someone would bring them to our room. We get to the room that was supposed to have one king or two queens. It had one Queen. Very small room. Hard mattress. My arms kept falling asleep. I only wish the rest of me could have done the same. Two sheets, top and bottom. No blanket. It had an ocean view however the balcony door stuck so badly it took all my husbands muscles to open. No lock on the door either. We went for supper, when we got back still no pool towels. So I decide to have a shower and realize there were no towels at all. Nothing. So my husband calls. They say they will bring some. I wait. And wait. I go back downstairs and tell the man at the desk I need two towels. He opens the cupboard, searches through a stack of towels and hands me one bath towel and two hand towels. No I say I need dos grande. Nope. He say no we no have. Not sure why I couldn’t have one out of the stack of towels that were there. They couldn’t be pool towels because he looked through them earlier when we checked in and asked then for pool towels, just as it said to do on the information page they gave us. I guess maybe they were thursdays towels only and we came in on Wednesday… who knows. Anyways with all that and the elevator that was in need of repair, (it was loud and out of balance and rubbed on something when you rode up or down) and the mold on the bathroom floor it is not worth the money at all.

This is a good hotel but you have to know what to expect. It essentially strives for a fiesta-type atmosphere that is popular with Mexican families. Loud music going til fairly late in the night and the hotel does not cater so much to foreign tourists. If that sounds good to you, this is your place. Great ocean views from the room and a pretty nice beachfront, though it does get a bit narrow during high tide. Conveniently located near the far end of the Golden Zone, so you’re near a lot of stuff but not quite right in the middle of it. Did not eat or drink much here but it seemed decent enough. Towel situation is a little annoying as you have to keep a second card with you to get a beach towel. Resort is nice because it’s new, but it is a little sparse and often short on charm. Much of this is widely done to minimize dirt, mildew, etc, which is great, but it could be a little warmer. Staff seemed somewhat disinterested outside of the front desk — not exactly rude but not very attentive either. Pools are nice although, again, a little sparse. Big family pool then a slightly smaller pool for adults. Kids would like it here well enough. They had a pretty cool fire show on Friday or Saturday night. That one is worth catching if you can. I don’t think you could do much better unless maybe if you head a little further north up the beach, like around playa Cerritos. But that did not seem nearly as convenient, although much quieter.

Experience was poor. Went to the snack shop and was given a coffee with chunks of milk floating in it. When I showed them and asked for a new one they said no it was fine I had to pay a new one. Asked the management to deal with it and they were indifferent. Breakfast wasn’t great either. Room was ok but had some maintenance issues e.g lights not working etc.

I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Park Inn Radisson and was appalled by the deplorable conditions of the bathroom. Upon entering the room, I was immediately hit with a strong, musty odor that seemed to come from the bathroom. As I approached the bathroom, I noticed a black mold growing on the walls and ceiling, which was not only unsightly but also a serious health concern. There was water continually dripping from the ceiling, and the smell was overwhelming. It was clear that the hotel had not taken proper measures to address the issue, and I was shocked that they would allow guests to stay in a room with such hazardous conditions. I brought my concerns to the attention of the hotel staff, who seemed unconcerned and unhelpful. They offered to move me to a different room. The new room had a terrible view. I will never stay at Park Inn Raddison again and would advise others to avoid it at all costs. The hotel’s lack of attention to detail and disregard for guest safety is unacceptable. It’s essential for hotels to prioritize cleanliness and take immediate action when issues arise, rather than ignoring them and putting guests at risk. Rating: 1/5 stars

MMichèle90The location of their private beach is the best in my opinion it’s so clean. The service of the hotel is too strict. I ran into problems because of the bracelet thing. One of my family members got her deers erased by being in the beach and she was stopped and asked to go to the reception to check if she was a guest at the hotel but we told the security to look at our bracelets and they were from the hotel and my grandmas was also fading yet he didn’t believe us so we had to go to the reception. It was time wasted that we had to deal with just for them to be yes they are guests. And then it happened again because the first time they didn’t change our bracelets when they should’ve have done that in the first place.
We choose to stay at the Posada Freeman in the historic center for two reasons, proximity to the historic center and second the view from this hotel is AMAZING. The hotel staff were wonderful. We booked two king bedrooms that had views of the ocean and the historic center. This hotel is walking distance to everything in the historic center and el Centro with great restaurants and boutique shops.
MMANJARREZI really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, the facilities were super clean and all the furniture was new.
Food and the buffet service was great too.
I’m definitely staying again here
MmariogM6829EGSecond time I’ve stayed at this hotel and I came back because it’s the one I’ve enjoyed the most. Last time I was given one of the newly remodeled rooms in the interior part of the property and it was great. This year I was given one of the older rooms adjacent to the main boulevard and the noise at night specially in the weekend where cars and RAZRS cruise up and down the blvd with the music at full blast is hard to sleep with. Service from the staff has always been excellent. So like I said it’s a great location to enjoy a vacation just make sure to get one of the new rooms or bring your earplugs and a white noise machine so you can sleep.
Ok, if your priorities in a vacation are pristine new accomodation with gadgets and new feel residency, this is definitely not the place for you. There are other issues that will talk about in a minute.. What really shines for Royal Villa are: it's safety, location, staff, amenities and cleanliness with comfort.. I stayed a week ish ... In April 2024, booking a junior suite...ok, technically it had a sea view if you searched hard - but benefits for that were we were never close to the big beach banda, nor the busy main road, so noise wasn't a problem. The room had all the mod cons and Aircon, TV and kitchenette worked very well. Bathroom big and shower was spacious. WiFi was strong and consistent in the studio room but dropped out on balcony.. LOCATION : Literally a few steps onto beach in El Dorado or Golden Zone, spacious pool although at busy times I struggled to get a sunbed. The building is established and relatively open, so when the wind blows it moves around lamp shades etc but thick walls and mighty pillars will see this building safe for years to come albeit it might not exactly be to your decor liking. STAFF: All engaging and hospitable...this is where RV excels, and brings out it's charm. Big shout out to Marcos, a loyal employee. And , Artherudo. Not to mention amigo with the big fishing book!? Hahaha! Brilliant! The two guys making cocktails and running bar were lovely as were all the waiters, also one note on my booking: Comms with the place were excellent before I even got there, they catered for my needs . AMENITIES: Include an on site spa, small shop to buy necessities, restaurant, full bar and breakfast buffet, snack bar. Outside pool and bubble jacuzzi all with waiter service.... you're not going to get knock down prices but decent quality - try the frappacino, they're amazing! But you're knocked back just as quickly by the cheap plastic cups cocktail are served in around the pool.. CLEANING: Maid cleaned and replenished bathroom facilities every day, although not the complimentary water(?). Beds so comfy slept well.. You can opt in or out of the cleaning as desired. NOT HOTEL FAULT : External noise especially party music all times of the night with extension of Mexican hospitality. CAN IMPROVE: Signs in bathroom reminding waste paper in basket, not down basin. (not every customer come from a country where this practice is normal). Make a kettle available. More charging points around bed area. More consistent WiFi. Better quality receptacles and cutlery around the pool area. CONCLUSION: This firmly places in 4* for me, as the staff elevate this up, notwithstanding the establishment knows how to organise an event! I saw dancing classes, cookery classes, BBQ nights, live music, not including that fabulous eclipse special event breakfast and eating on the beach. These guys and gals can hold, organise and execute special occasions....not quite a 5* quality, but what is important to me, they got very much got ri
GGuest UserI couldn't attend the scheduled date and tried to communicate for 4 days before the date and I could never and did not cancel my reservation because I had preferred price of despegar.com, but this answer gave me to start, Since with the hotel I tried to tell me every hour to see if I could cancel or at least change the date and they never answered me in bookings, more than once at reception and they didn't solve anything, my money was left knowing with time that I would not be able to attend and and that because it was a start price, they didn't even have the attention to answer e-mails nothing left my money and absolutely nothing, and as I say even without the simple attention to answer the phone or The post, terrible customer service. As the answer indicates, there was no flexibility, they could have sold easy that day to another person because it is even high season, but there was no way to make any arrangement or deal, or to dialogue in any way.
Older resort, but clean had everything we needed. beach is very nice, not to many people, except on Cruise Ship days (cruise ship passengers are welcome here) very busy on these days. Staff - my experience mostly good, except a security guard Damien.. he came at us very angry waving his hands yelling at us, he was speaking in spanish (i know its the language there) but i had no idea what he was yelling about. As luck has it a lady and her husband helped with translation. The issue was my pool bag was open and laying on top of my stuff was a bag of nachoes (apparently not allowed on pool deck, i was never told this when checked in or any time during my stay) We were in hot tub when this all started, no where near my bag, and no one was eating the nachoes. we had just came up from the beach. My frustration, Why was Damien looking in my bag in the first place? Why did he not get a staff member that i could communicate with and simply tell us that nachoes was not allowed on pool deck? Why did he get so angry and make me feel like i had done something criminal? I did go to front desk and report, someone did talk to me and assure me that this would not happen again, and it didnt. The front desk did also tell me that the next morning i would get a call from the manager, but that did not happen. Damien ignored me for the rest of our stay. I am not a rule breaker, and i am not a complainer but this did have an impact on the rest of my stay, i was on edge and nervous that he would approach me in this manner again. The rest of the staff were kind. Location of hotel in golden zone would be hard to beat, you are right in the center of all resturants, and entertainment. Yes i would return Front desk should give all guests at check in a list of the rules.
GGuest UserThe main needs of this vacation were beach, sand, pool, drinks, food. This fit the bill as the cheapest, direct flight for both my wife and I from BC and my brother and his wife from SK. A RIU this resort is NOT but we knew that going in. We knew the food would not be great, it isn't in the buffet. It's adequate for one visit maybe two but after that too limited and too repetitive. We chose instead to visit one of the smaller restaurants and either the Luna, Pacific Tower or Star Palace from breakfasts and select one of the dinner options each evening. Through that dining experience which was good we met Ramon. What an exceptionally pleasant, knowledgeable, hardworking and catering man. We asked to use the one dining room that was closed to play cards in. It was hard to find a quiet place to get away for that kind of activity. He said absolutely and turned the lights on for us and even asked us what we would like to drink. He even made the drinks, which were all exceptional, himself. Each evening then we asked for dinner that would take us to Ramon. He gave us special treatment and made us very welcome each evening for dinner and our card games. He served us drinks through the evening even while he was managing the dinners. The last evening he made me a dirty martini that was very excellent. Four olives!! If we were to decide to go here again we would choose the Luna Palace to stay in as it is a bit more laid back, nice pool and quieter. Not fault of the hotel but bands play on the beach and are extremely loud. The hotel was also fully booked with local families and associations or teams so very busy. We never were able to use the main pool but the Pacific pool was a good alternative and we stayed on the beach under a Palapa.
GGuest UserThey are very good, the truth is, they are very good pillows, I recommend this hotel, the truth is that all of it is accessible, it has free parking, not like others that charge to leave your car for even about 3 hours and that's it.
