Hampton Inn Atlanta/McDonough

My worst stay yet. everyone seem friendly. But don't have a problem it won't be fixed. All I got was cold shoulders, excuses and attitude. Its a nice quiet location near restaurants and shopping. close to highway, indoor/outdoor pool. no whirlpool, no shuttle. They smile at you and then do nothing. Seriously lack service skills. I definitely won't stay their again. breakfast was so so. The weekend breakfast attendant was very nice, she was the only one that did her job. As A diamond member service was atrocious. I was so fed. My room wasn't clean on Saturday, Then cleaned after 4pm on Sunday, it was an oh well situation. They told me I was assigned connecting room at 10am got in at 10 pm no connecting room could not put my kids in a room I had to pay for. Nothing could be done. The worst customer service ever. Oh my I can't say it enough. I asked for a towel and washrag. I am the only one here you have to come get it yourself or go find the room attendant and get it from her. Just like that. I was shocked. There was 2 of the clerks that was very nice. They couldn't help me. But at least they were nice. This was a 5 day stay so 2 of 10 is not a good average. There are too many properties in that area for me to even go back to this property. I had other guest there so I chose not to leave. The manager was nasty. unhelpful.

I did not like the bath room having mold. My top concerns are as follows, Clean, Good Water Flow, Comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was not clean enough. Second in my list of things is work desk with comfortable chair. Check the room was set up well.

This is a great location to stop at going down I-75. The hotel is pet friendly with a indoor/outdoor pool. The Hotel is under renovation. However, the rooms are beautiful, and the mess is minimal. The staff are amazing everyone I came in contact with was kind and you could tell they were happy to be at work. The GM was out in the lobby laughing with the guest. This Hotel just had a down home feel. I am glad I stopped.

It was business for my husband but I tagged along. We were greeted as soon as we entered and felt welcomed. The room we were first given had some issues; the front desk staff apologized for the inconvenience and gave us another room quickly - they even offered to help us move. The maintenance person even went and checked out the second room to make sure everything was good. They were doing some renovations at the hotel so it was understanable that there might be some glitches. Breakfast was good: hot choices, yogurt, cereal, fruit, toast, muffins, bagels, juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate - lots to choose from. The person keeping the breakfast stocked was always very welcoming and curteous. The housekeeping staff were very friendly, accommodating, and supplied what we needed. We used the pool one afternoon and were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't cold. I liked that you could be inside or go outside. The only place that was less than appealing was the outside firepit area. It may just be that they haven't renovated yet but the firepit didn't work and the seating area had torn, dirty cushions. We didn’t stay out there as it wasn't inviting at all. All in all, we were pleased with the service and the stay.

First let me say the staff were very friendly my entire stay. The rest of my stay was disappointing. No one came to service my room the entire stay, on the third day I requested clean towels, upon returning to my room I found them on the dirty hallway carpet outside my room, they could have at least put them in a laundry bag and hung them on my door. hardly any hot water at all, I was told they were having boiler problems. This hotel lacks the Hilton experience I am used too.

The room is Filthy, old and outdated , furniture ripped the pleather bench is all pealed, desk chair all ripped, walls crumbling mold in bathroom. We paid $170 for this awful room. please see pictures

This hotel is older but staff was super friendly and our room was clean and had everything f we needed! The bed was comfortable and we got a good nights sleep. Thanks for the yummy hot breakfast too! Good stay!

It was the perfect venue to host my sister's 50th birthday party. The rental rate was the best in town. From the time, we checked in, let me tell you the entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Aj who made sure we had enough tables & chairs for our party. The event room was super clean and smelled clean too. So glad we had our sister's party here. We truly made the right choice. Thank you Angel for making us feel so welcome. I love your upbeat friendly personality and lovely smile. We also booked two rooms and Angel took care of all of our requests. Thanks to the housekeeper on the 2nd floor, Mimi at the front desk on the night shift, for being so kind to us as well. The pool was warm and clean even had towels. Breakfast was ok, limited to eggs, bacon, muffins, fruit, coffee, juice, and waffles. Overall, we had a great experience and we would definitely stay here again.

I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member and stay at Hampton Inn almost exclusively. We stopped at this location and as soon as we got off the elevator we noticed how dirty the hallway carpet was. When we got to the room the floor also had not been vacuumed and had little hearts from Valentines Day in the floor as well as outside the door. When my wife pulled the sheets back there was MULTIPLE hairs on the bed and pillows. It was late and there were no other rooms available. The front desk clerk got us some sheets and WE changed the bed. There were no clean pillowcases available in the laundry room and I got two zip pillow covers(which the zippers did not work) to put over the pillows two pillows we would use. We then noticed hair on the back shower stall and mold/mildew in the shower corners ,etc. The toilet lid had some type of shim the bolt went through which was yellow with urine stain. The bath fan also did not work which was minor compared to everything else. Had it not been so late when we arrived and tired plus driving on through Atlanta we would have left. Hands Down the worst hotel experience we have ever had!! When I talked to the manager her reply was ..I Apoligize.
