Initially I may have given this hotel a much better rating, but upon going online to my credit card account, I have a duplicate charge. Speaking with Chelsea this morning, apparently not only was the room amount authorized, but then the actual charge was also put through so there are two charges on my credit card. Chelsea states one will drop off usually within five days. My husband and I travel frequently and no other facility had ever done this. It’s a ridiculous policy. We have another reservation scheduled with IHG Group and do not like their policy. On another level, our bathroom sink smelled like a sewer and our bedsheets had stains. While it appeared the sheets had been laundered, those sheets should not be used for other guests.

Room 220 is not an accessible room. I even asked at desk and they said it was. Nope. Nothing about this room is accessible. No access to thermostat, soap dispenser out of reach, no grab bars by toilet or shower, no turning radius in bathroom, no lower peep hole, no label on outside of door to indicate it is. Either your night staff has no clue which rooms are accessible or management has no clue how to make a room accessible. Stop selling this as an accessible room that you charge more for. Room was clean, as was lobby and hall.

Needed a place to stay off of I71. Tried the Fairfield Inn, but no rooms were available, so ended up here. Glad I did! Interior feels new, fresh, and clean. Lobby is warm and inviting. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Didn't try the breakfast. Would recommend.

Stopped here after a long day on the road. The room was clean and bed comfy. Bathroom very clean. Slept great. The hotel seemed a bit on the cold side and it took a while to get my room warm. Nice breakfast choices!

The Medina, Ohio Holiday Inn Express lobby appears recently remodeled and current. However, when we arrived on June 4th, the desk clerk was rude and seemed not to like meeting customers. No eye contact, no thank you for being an IHG Rewards member, just rude. Once we were in our room my daughter detected two roaches on the walls that I killed. The bathroom was also unclean. I reported the roaches in a nice manner the next morning as we checked out to the desk clerk (different one) and a man behind the counter who appeared to be the manager. The Manager dismissed my statement about the roaches by waving his arms and saying we were in Ohio, the hotel is surrounded by woods and they get critters in the hotel. The breakfast hostess was very welcoming and provided a wonderful breakfast. With her customer service skills; she should be running the hotel. Very disappointed. We also had a bad experience at the Williamsport PA HIE. My wife said she is done with Holiday Inn and so we stayed at Hampton Inns the rest of our trip and noticed a huge difference. I always have liked HIE as have had good experiences in the Midwest and Southeast on business trips (love the breakfast cinnamon rolls) but the Northeast HIE's appear to be poorly run.

Superbly maintained, clean, great location, quiet. Virtually zero road noise. Breakfast was peak level of the Holiday Inn Express standards. Excellent staff. This was the 5th HI Express we have stated at (so far) on this trip, and one of the best of all our travels. Highly recommended.+
