We stayed at The Aegean Suites towards the end of September and from our first day to the last we totally enjoyed our stay. All the staff were exceptional and the food was fabulous and the portions were huge. The fresh food platter at breakfast was delicious and it was so big we ended up feasting on it the next on our balcony. The last 3 days we were upgraded from b&b to all inclusive which was an added treat, all in all credit to all the staff who work in the hotel to make all the guests have an exceptional holiday and a big shout out to Dimitris who's service was fantastic. We wouldn't hesitate in returning however maybe in a suite a little lower down, 130 steps back to our suite was a little tiring in the heat however my calfs have never been so toned!

Great little adults only hotel with a round 20 rooms, serving good food and combined with excellent service. It's a Greek "5 star" (so in reality, a nice UK 4* quality in my opinion). Everything clean and serviceable, could probably do with a refresh in some of the room features, but it certainly didn't detract from our stay and if you read all the comments about the number of stairs, it really isn't too much hassle.....the thought is worse than the reality; although if you are elderly or have trouble walking, you will always encounter some stairs, so perhaps not ideal for people with limited mobility. It exceeded our expectations and has been our favourite Greek Island holiday ever......and we have had quite a few. Even the guests seemed more friendly than normal, with people happily chatting away with social pleasantries at breakfast etc. but no-one was intrusive, it just had a friendly vibe in the atmosphere. This is probably a sign of how much they were probably enjoying themselves too; so another positive reflection on the hotel and their staff.

What a treat, the hotel is small and perfectly formed. The staff are incredible, thank you Nicky, Eleni, Demitris, and everyone for making it so special. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable and the view incredible. Across the road isn’t beach and the water clean and perfect. Town is a 15-20 minute walk and there are lots of shops and restaurants. Everything closes for the winter mid October so we were lucky and it was lovely and quiet but still open. We went all exclusive which was great but the menu doesn’t change all each day, other than one main course (of which they do run out of, if you don’t book an early table), so was slightly hard to choose what to eat at lunch and dinner especially as my partner is vegan and there was no flexibility from the menu at all. It was suggested he eat cheese and fish as an alternative to being vegan! We realised soup of the day was soup of the week, luckily it was vegetable so it was an option! Other than that minor gripe it was an incredible trip thank you. Greater flexibility on food would have made it even better.

Amazing staff, so helpful and friendly. Lovely suite of rooms, nice & clean. Food was so different and very tasty. The beach just over the road was rather short & had no sun beds but maybe that was because the season there is finishing. Still a great holiday!

Second time visit, first was ten years ago so new review really. Place hasn’t changed that much, still very charming and beautiful. Had selected bed and breakfast option but on arrival we were told that we had been upgraded to all inclusive at no extra cost! Bargain we thought but later found out everyone in the hotel that arrived from the end of September had also been upgraded so didn’t feel so special but still a plus. As in previous reviews there are a number of steps to contain with so people should bear that in mind when booking. There were 92 steps to our room, yes I’m sad and counted them! However, we didn’t have to take our suitcases up these steps as the staff will do it for you. Speaking of the staff they were fantastic! Dimitri the restaurant manager and Andriana on reception especially. All of the food served as great and drinks were always all ways served quickly and sometimes when you hadn’t even order a refill it! The hotel itself is small, having only 20 odd rooms, which suited us just fine, the pool areas was never busy and the bar staff were quick and efficient. The beach on the other side of the road leaves a bit to be desired but there is a perfectly good beach a five minute way away. The town itself is about a twenty minute walk away. Overall a great holiday and hotel that had everything we would want, my only gripe is that we left the transfer down to the hotel and got charged €50 each way, when I thought that one payment would have covered both journeys. Taxi fare was less than half that, also there were other guests leaving on the same day to catch the same flight so would have thought the hotel could have suggested we shared the transport?

We have recently returned from an 11 night stay at the Agean Suites and from the moment we were collected from the airport to our very last day it was amazing. The hotel is in a good location with a lovely beach with tavernas just across the road and Skiathos Town a pleasant 15 walk away. We were in suite 305 so at the very top of the resort with 160 steps but the views are worth the climb. The rooms are bright and airy and shabby chic in style which will not be to everyone’s taste but I liked the style. If I had any criticism and it’s only minor would be that the rooms could be revamped a little especially the blinds and the bathroom - shower over the bath is not great. The breakfast was lovely, great choices and generous portions. It made a lovely change to have breakfast cooked to order rather than the usual buffet style. The pool area is lovely, until the last couple of days we were there there was never an issue with sun beds however on our last 2 days we noticed people had started putting towels on the sun beds and reserving them - which there isn’t a need for this. We didn’t visit the sister hotel. I would definitely say that the staff make this a really special place and such a memorable holiday. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and took the time to chat with you, knew everyone by name - it’s a really VIP experience. All of the staff were great but especially Niki, Dimitres and Oritas - they really looked after us and made our holiday extra special. We had an amazing time at the hotel and in Skiathos and would definitely return.

Just got back from a week here in September and loved it. The team are great, warm; friendly and super helpful. We stayed in a suite and had no complaints, large, spacious, well appointed….but yes a 97 step climb to get to it…but the positive is you get amazing views. We did have a couple of days where there wasn’t quite enough sunbeds by the pool, so made use of the free shuttle to their sister hotel The Princess which is large and on the beach….less than 10 mins away. The Aegean Suites really has the best location with no compromises…just a pleasant 15 min walk into town, but far enough away to be tranquil and the use of the sister hotel to also get some beach time. Breakfast are great as mentioned in other reviews…all off menu and just amazing quality and the breakfast team are brilliant.
