Great location, friendly staff and value for money! The hotel and room looks exactly as per advertised. Room 209 without window is superb, clean and spacious room, the shower is soft and comfortable, water is warm enough. Bottled water are given in the room. The staff is very helpful during the stay. Behind the hotel there’s a restaurant which can connect directly to the river walk, makes the walk to Jonker street much shorter.

Hotel location is good . Breakfast was so so only . Not much choice . Spoon was given to me by staff was not clean . Staff not able to provide services to crowded guests. Food are not topping up . No glasses to take drinks . We will not take breakfast service next time . However room is big ( we took primer deluxe suit ) and nice sea view . Will visit again . Hotel management to consider for crowd management during breakfast time with extra hired staff and open another space for breast instead of long que for guests .

Hotel location is extremely convenient, it’s very near to all main tourist attractions like Jonker walk, Red square and riverside. The room is spacious and clean. And the staffs are also friendly and helpful. Happy stay at Ibis!!!

Terrible pillow cleanliness as photo attached. Smelly & very dirty pillow. Yellow spot ( which im very sure is air liur basi stain) every where. We asked to changed 3 pillows then they give new pillow with the same stain. 2 nd time asked to change pillow again & they gave us new pillows. This time no stains. Thanks to the housekeeping guy for helping us.

The view from my room is beautiful, can see Melaka River and all city 🫶🏻… Free parking provided for guest(sharing park with swiss gardeen hotel,Level 7&8) But to be honest for staycation is just nice, u do not expect to much yaa.. The room i got level 31-092, air-conditioning not properly functioning. The designer for bathroom wall(are glasses) not suitable for family or friends to stay together unless a married couple. Because you all can see transparency thru the glass, no binder provided and also the bathroom door no doorknob yaa. You guys can imagine, no privacy😅 Yes, for the lift until August 2024 there is not improvement despite a lot of complaint 🤒 It can be ages to waiting for the lift.

Very practical location within walking distance to many attractions and Jonker Walk. 7-11 right next door with a few food outlets and the crazy cheap price is a great reason to stay here. The buffet breakfast is good for the price. I had tater tots. Love it. Only gripe, the water pressure in my room is pretty low.

The room is agent unit from Pines hotel. Parking is charged per day (opposite the hotel) rm3 on weekend and public holiday Self check in as guest will be given instructions prior to stay date The room is nice at the highest floor and I am very happy with the room. However, there are some complain on the air con. It can be controlled and quite cold, even the temp has been set to 30 degree. The fan speed was like maximum blow even I set to the lowest bar Quite annoying also on the Aircon sound, unable to sleep soundly Hope the owner can look into this

This is a very new hotel which started their business in March 2023. Wanted to try on the first day of opening but due to some reason, it was delayed till now. It’s a first Marriott hotel in Melaka, so I do have very high expectations from them. As a Marriott platinum elite member, I’ve stayed in many hotel under Marriott organisation. Upon reaching the hotel with grab car, the staff came up to me immediately and lead me to the check in counter, the lobby are huge, and I can still smell that the hotel are still so new. Not much of the guest in the lobby area, it’s a Monday so I guess it’s normal. No suite room upgrade and no complimentary breakfast for a platinum member, although I was upgraded to a strait view room which I appreciated it. It can see a tiny bit of the sea. Apart from that, I guess the room size and amenity are the same. The check in staff told me that the suite room was full… I mean.. it’s a Monday.. and I literally still can see the suite room was available in the Bonvoy app. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve been to many hotel under Marriott organisation. I don’t always get upgraded to a suite room, but it was okay, I do understand all these are subjected to individual hotel policy and it’s all a good will. But I guess the staff could just tell me that the hotel are still new, the suite room are limited and it’s reserved for paying guest. I would totally understand that. But I don’t think it’s wise to you know, use a default replied as member like us, we check on the app. For me, if there’s no available suite room, I wouldn’t even ask for an upgrade. Secondly, there’s no complimentary breakfast, I paid RM70 for the 2 day breakfast. I’ve stayed in a few courtyard hotel, this was the first one that I’ve paid for breakfast, there might be other courtyard that don’t provide complimentary breakfast for guest with elite status, maybe I didn’t stay much enough to see it all. I’ve stayed with hotel that told me that their facility actually don’t offer complimentary breakfast for elite member, but they will just give it to me as a good will on top of my welcome gift. Just a little suggestion, like maybe let the counter staff to decide, if they could slip in some complimentary breakfast to guest with elite status or even guest that potentially come back again. I’m not complaining here, just some of my suggestions. The room are new, nice and spacious, very clean. Nice TV channel selection, view was great. Bed are firm to the level that I like, they offer pillow menu as well. Had very good sleep for the 2 night. Breakfast was very basic. There’s a very annoying flies flying around my table.. how did it come into the hotel, lol. Gym are small but there should be everything you need. The infinity pool are great! Very good view and very Instagrammable. Please visit the pool when you are here. The staff and friendly and nice. Would come back again to the hotel when I’m back in Melaka.

I had a pleasant stay at Hallmark. The room was clean and big. The facilities partially felt a little old like the rooftop. It is a 15-20min walk to the tourist center, so a little offside if you are traveling by foot, better with a car or motorcycle. Insider info: right across the street is the green cafe, from a lovely old couple with some amazing breakfast!!! Go check it out.

Room was okay for the price you pay. Don’t expect what you see in the pictures as the room is a bit more run down which is fine but could definitely be cleaner. Floors and certain surfaces were oily and bathtub faucet was not functioning properly. Other than that was okay especially for the price. But make sure you whatsapp the hotel number to let them know you are checking in that day and to find out where/how to check in at the building. Also, to avoid any check-in delays.
