My brother got married here at this hotel. Such a nice hotel from when you drive up to the staff who are nice and friendly! The family room is nice and big. The hotel is located just of an A road with the views of the countryside and not too far from East Midlands airport too as you can see and hear the airplanes got over head. I would highly recommend this hotel for a quiet getaway and even a nice small wedding as they have everything on sight for your whole day.

Convenient location to city & St Kilda Parking is $19/night extra - ouch ! Allocated room was just so so with outlook over a construction site. We did not wait to see if excavations would start at 7am. But to get moved to a better room, as originally requested was ‘quite a process’ and not done willingly. Once settled in a room, worthy of the tariff, it was quite comfortable. Wi-Fi is “public “ hence unprotected- which is “ very poor practice “. The hotel is pet friendly & (apparently) bicycle friendly. Maintenance was required for 3 items in the bathroom. In addition the shower was moldy and dirty around the lower area and condensation dripped from the ceiling onto the baggage shelf. Housekeeping does not answer the phone on any of the occasions we tried to call. After room service on the 3rd day, bath towels were missing. It only took 2 more calls to the front desk to get them provided. Is it staff shortages, lack of care or lack of training? Regardless, we paid full price and received less than what we paid for. “Can do much better” is my conclusion.
