Walking distance to the center - 10 mins, personnel is very nice. There was one dirty towel but other than that it was clean and it met our expectations.

Al margen de esto, que puede ocurrir, lo peor fueron las formas utilizadas por el personal del turno de noche.

Хорошее расположение. С утра становится шумно - дорога рядом. 
Плохое расположение кондиционера - он дует прямо на кровать, на ночь его надо ставить на минимум, иначе продует.
У отеля есть своя парковка, большой плюс.
Из минусов: номер нельзя было закрыть снаружи, замок не срабатывал; его надо чинить

Отель расположен примерно в 10 минутах ходьбы от центральной площади Мериды. Персонал доброжелательный. Из минусов -очень маленькие и тесные туалет и ванная комната.

We used HIT Merida as headquarter point while visiting Mayan ruins. Small but very clean. Free coffee in lobby. Walking distance several blocks to main square but otherwise the aesthetics of area leave a lot to be desired. Very nice restaurant for lunch or dinner directly across street—hidden gem. Bathroom super small. Hotel not generous with towels. We were 3 and only received two bath towels, one hand and zero washcloths. We did receive another bath towel when we requested. First night was street side room and so noisy we had trouble sleeping. Therefore, check your room location prior to unpacking. Requested change and were accommodated with much quieter room.  Bed comfort was average. No hot water in shower or sink. Sink very slow draining in both rooms. Staff was great and hotel parking was a plus since we had a vehicle.  The hotel is ok if you don’t plan to stay in the room long so for us it serves the purpose. Very inexpensive.

Pros Lovely staff, very helpful.  Clean place. Walkable to a lot of places. Comfortable stay.  Cons This place is new and looks like parts of it are incomplete. E.g. the balcony area does not have any safety railings and has many tripping hazards. Hopefully this will get fixed soon. Like everyone else has said, the bathrooms are a tight fit. I was travelling solo so it was OK for me but I have no idea how some people may manage.
