My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a convention. The beds and pillow are nice. Also have the separate sitting areas was very convenient. The carpets are not worn down and it is in need of some renovations. The free breakfast was good and the coffee was hot. The location was also prime for a few local restrurants and shopping. I do not have a comparison for hotels in that area as it was my first time in the area.

The room was clean, easy to travel, and close to the restaurant supermarket. The only regret was that the room was generally soundproof. One night the room next door yelled and the TV turned on very loudly. As a result, I was already in jet lag and didn't fall asleep all night.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights while on business. This hotel has to have one of the nicest staffs I’ve encountered over the last 17 years of traveling for business and pleasure. Every member of the housekeeping staff I encountered gave a “Good Morning” “Hello” “Hi!”. And it felt genuine, not forced. The front desk staff was also very friendly. One of the days I stopped by to get a water and snack from the market. The GM was helming the desk. When I gave him my room number to charge the two items to, he saw I was a lifetime Titanium Bonvoy member and said the items were on the hotel. Small but appreciative gesture for my loyalty. I’ll stay here again the next time I’m in the area.

I stayed for 5 nights on a business trip. Pros: Front desk staff is really friendly and helpful! The room is spacious and has a lot of storage for a hotel room. The kitchenette is nice - full-size refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, dishes and a dishwasher. You can check out a cook top from the front desk if you need it. The fitness room (shared with the adjacent hotel) is quite large. 5 or so treadmills, 4 ellipticals, a couple of bikes, a rowing machines and weights. The pool area is very nice. Besides lounge chairs, there are tables with chairs with cushions. There's also a firepit (gas). There is also a bar but it wasn't staffed when I was there. Cons: It is a little inconvenient to have to check in at the hotel next door, but it's not as big of a deal as some have made it. The other hotel is attached and the door is maybe 100 feet away. Once you are in, you can walk inside to get between the two. The breakfast is really lacking - especially when you are likely catering to people who are going to be there a while. The selections are the same from day to day - pre-made cheese omelets, bagels and bread, waffles, oatmeal. No fruit except some old looking whole apples and oranges. Mixed, cut fruit would be nice! The hotel next door offers a better breakfast but you have to pay for it. I stayed on the side facing the pool and it was nice and quiet. My co-worker stayed on the side facing the highway and she said it was very noisy all night! They do not clean your room daily unless requested the night before. a big deal and it's pretty standard right now. Except- then give me 5 days worth of coffee instead of making me go to the desk to get it! The location is in a light industrial area which means you won't be walking to restaurants or shops (except Badlands which is right next door. It's really good!) I will be back in the area for work again in a few months. Will I stay here again? Maybe, but I'll also check out some other options.

We stay at Hilton properties across the country. We have stayed in Scottsdale for years. This was our first time in Tempe. We were thrilled with our stay. This was a first time traveling with my hubby on Peritoneal Dialysis. The portable machine flew with us but all do.unions- there were boxes and boxes were delivered directly to the hotel. When we arrived, the hotel staff had all the boxes in our suite. We had terrific communication with Maria, Sami Erin before and during our stay. What terrific ambassadors they are. The breakfast was lovely. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Carm was just wonderful. We love pool time. The pool was clean. Just wished there was bar service at the pool. We have already booked our next stay there.

We were here for a business meeting. Our room was nice, clean and had everything that we needed. The gardens are well kept and the area is easily walkable. The room had a fridge, safe and microwave. The bed was comfy and there was a nice leather chair and ottoman to use. My Only complaint would be that there was trash sitting in front of our room when we arrived (5:00 pm) and was still there until afternoon the next day. Each day there were sugar and creamer packets and coffee cup lids on the grounds in many places throughout the resort. We had a few receptions and the staff could not have been any more attentive. They did an amazing job serving drinks and food. They were on top of the cleanup also. Job well done. We did have a pre-order luncheon one day also. That meal did not seem as well executed. It took over 45 minutes to be served our meals. The resort has some restaurants across the street that were walkable. The mall and Old Town Scottsdale are nearby also.

GGuest UserWe had to ask for our room to bed made up if we wanted that done or anything else that needed to be done. Clean glassware, conditioner etc that we needed which was annoying. If you book with a 3 party the kind of room you booked is not guaranteed. We had asked for a king size room. When we got here. We were told they didn’t have any. They sent us to an unmade room with two queen beds and we went back and were told oh yes, there was a king and we could have it not sure what that was all about, as far as the conditions of the hotel, they’re great but it’s just the constant having to ask for everything that was so annoying. Oh also, if you book with a third-party, you don’t get any of your Bonvoy points
Merry Christmas from Mesa! Dad and I traveled from sunny California to spend Christmas with my beautiful daughter, Rebecca and her family. The Holiday Inn was warm and welcoming. Chi, our hotel contact, texted and made sure everything was perfect. This was such a nice touch for traveling out of state. We had forgotten some things and Chi was helpful in directing us to the local Wal-Mart. It us just down the road.
GGuest UserMy Husband and I found this lovely place on trip.com. We just loved it. Lenique she is the nicest lady She made sure we were okay also offered us some cookies. She smiled from the time we got there until the day we left. We will be going back soon.
JjenwhiteMy husband and I had d a great stay. Quite and safe. Never been at a Motel 6 where it was safe and quite. Clean room and very nice staff. We will be back when we go back in that town.
Nnurse-RayRayI had to beg lady at desk for clean sheets and towels and she said she wouldn’t give them to me until I left the dirty ones in a bag outside my door! I explained to her that I had just worked all night and wasn’t going to steal their sheets and that I would bring the dirty ones down immediately if she would just give me the sheets so I could make my bed and go to sleep. She reluctantly gave them to me but was very rude. I get housekeeping has been cut back due to Covid but if I’m doing everything myself then how about helping instead of hindering? Dang! The carpet is pretty bad. People smoke all the time, there was a cigarette butt on the floor for 2 days, the ac doesn’t keep room cool and shuts off frequently as if it had met set temperature. The only positive thing I can say about this place is the location is good and the maintenance gentleman has been the nicest employee and quick to help me when my drain was clogged and fixed the card swipe on the back door plus he always smiles and waves and asked how things are going. Oh and the nt shift clerk gentleman was nice too. If my company hadn’t been paying for my stay I would have bounced out the next night.
Jjessicav1228azAt first look this hotel seems great and it's not bad there were just a few things that were unpleasant. It is in a quiet neighborhood, kind of tucked back. When we first pulled in, there was another guest pulling in behind us and he sped past us at least 45 mph, jumping the speed bumps, laughing hanging out of his window. I go into the office to check in there's no one at the desk but I hear a Ja Rule song blasting from the back so I call out ”hello” a few times. Then a young man comes to the front after 5 or so minutes, I check in, and he explains all of the rules to me. We pull to a spot closer to our room, which is on the backside of the building. There isn't parking on the backside of the building so you can't park next to your room if it's on that side. We have to park in the front and walk around, unfortunately the only walkway to get there was through the smoking area. I don't smoke, neither does my husband and we had our children with us. There were some shady looking men always hanging out in the smoking area so we constantly had to walk past them. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. AC worked great and the shower was nice and hot. We had the king bed with sleeper sofa, there were no sheets, blankets or pillows for the sleeper sofa. So I went to the office to get sheets and pillows for it, there was a sign on the counter that said 'back in a few minutes'. I saw the front desk clerk through the window in the door, he was about 20 feet away talking to a man. He saw me, I waved even so he would know I am waiting on him, he continued to stand there and talk. I waited almost 15 minutes and I looked down the way again like maybe he's on his way back now, nope he picked up a bag of laundry and started walking further down the sidewalk. I was fed up waiting so I gave up, went back to my room and split up my sheets and pillows for the kids to use. One real complaint is when I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, I turned on the light and TWO ROACHES!! I killed them, it was disgusting. I would have went to the office and complained but who knows if that guy would even be in there and how long I would have to wait. Not sure if we would stay here again, like it wasn't bad, we made due. The reason we were even staying here is because our youngest son is in the NICU in the hospital right down the street and it was close and convenient to the hospital to be able to visit him.
GGuest UserMEDICAL PROCEDURE BOOKING: I booked a room for myself and my daughter because I was having a procedure done on my spine and I had to stay close to the Dr to 24 hours after. I booked this particular hotel because it had free breakfast and an outdoor pool, something my daughter could.enjoy while I slept off the anesthesia. Upon arrival, we were told we would be charged $200 refundable deposit, which was not communicated to me upon booking the room, the pool was closed which was not disclosed to me a the time of booking and breakfast was not being served. I was extremely upset to find out that all the reasons I booked this specific hotel was for the amenities offered. The room was clean and the mattress was the best mattress I've ever slept on in my 43 years.
Oh boy, where to start? I booked this ”motel” on ******* a few months before my husband and I were due to travel to Mesa, AZ for the Atomic Monster Weekend Convention (lol) for my husband's birthday. Didn't want to spend an arm and a leg so we booked a motel, which served us decently in the past when we traveled to Idaho and around Nevada but holy hell was this place on another level. We roll up on the day of check-in well within the window of proper check-in time (3:00pm - 10:00pm was the check in window; we arrived around 4:00pm) after driving 5 hours to get there and the first thing we see is a ”lady” with no pants on and (hopefully) flesh colored underwear, standing outside of her room, leaning up against the door jam with the door hanging open smoking a cigarette. Always a stellar sign. Any who, we walk up to the lobby door and pull on the door handle. It's locked. Huh? We've never stayed at a place with a locked lobby. Weird; must mean there's a lot of crime in the area. Another great sign. We notice there's a doorbell so we ring it. It takes about a minute or two for some guy to come up to the window next to the front door al la gas station style and demand we tell him why we're there. What do we look like, cops? Is this a motel? What gives? How many red flags is that? I tell him that we have a reservation via Expedia.com for two nights and are there to check in. He demands to see our I.D.'s. We push them through the opening in the window and he finally lets us in the lobby. Upon entering, he confirms our last names and informs us that our booking was cancelled. I tell him I didn't cancel it and he states that his manager cancelled the booking. I asked him why. Turns out, these clowns tried to charge my card before I even showed up, which was in direct violation of Expedia's policies. I found out later, after I had a chance to check my email after this whole debacle that they had tried to charge my card around noon and cancelled the booking at 1:37pm. It stated in my confirmation email that the money would be due at the property and that my card wouldn't be charged until I arrived, which is how we've always done it with no issues. Whatever, upon him telling me it was declined, I assumed my bank declined it because we live in Nevada and this place was in Arizona and we don't travel often so they probably flagged it as suspicious (I didn't check my email until I got back out to the car), and informed him as such, but I was more than happy to pay now that I was standing in front of him, like the confirmation email had originally stated. I even informed him that I had cash to pay for the entire stay if he wasn't comfortable with a card, but either way would work for us. He told me ”too bad” so sad, I can't do anything for you because the manager had cancelled it because our card was declined. I asked him why he didn't try to call us when they tried to run our card (illegally by the way) to discuss the matter. He told us it was our re
