Location is a little away from attractions, but still within 30 mins walking distance. There arent much good restaurants nearby the street

It’s actually pretty good. I don’t know why reviews were not high. Parking, normally they charge 10 EUR. But because trip.com says free parking, they waived, a bonus. The guys in reception were kind. Breakfast was very good. I had a lot of kiwis… No salami only ham.

The hotel is well-equipped and clean. It is a time-honored hotel. It is very close to the train station and the city center. It is recommended to stay here for in-depth walking tours. It is very convenient to transfer various tools. The hotel service staff is friendly and the room is cleaned every day. Highly recommended!

離火車站非常近，第二天趕火車去陶爾米納非常方便

皇宮酒店是一家很不錯的酒店，離火車站很近，去市中心和景點都很方便，早餐也不錯，設施齊全，衞生環境都很整潔，是適合各種旅行者的侄宿，值得推薦！

An excellent 3 star hotel and good value with large rooms and a great breakfast. Fresh fruit and pastries. Bathroom is a little tight like many in Italy but manageable with walk in shower. A must for mature travellers.

This is a fine hotel that is handy to the station and the ferry. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was good. Though personally I would prefer calm music with breakfast and not the disco that is currently playing. This hotel has the best shower in Sicily.

My son and I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting relatives in Messina, and were very satisfied with the accommodations, the helpfulness of the staff, the breakfasts, and, mostly, with the location, which was 5 blocks from my cousins' gioielleria. All in all, a fine choice.

We were there as a couple for 4 days, generally, it was a good experience, perfect location, tidy room and polite receptionists. Personally, I just didn't like the coffee machine on the breakfast self-service since the taste was unpleasant for me and we wanted to use laundry but it was a little bit pricy, with the price for the service we bought clothes.

Stay here for 1 night, very centrally located hotel. Garage is very convenient, impeccable staff always serving with a smile and very helpful. Hotel is undergoing refurbishment from outside but didn’t bother us. Rooms are very big and comfortable but need some upgrade for a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was very good. All in all very good stay for the price paid and if in the area won’t hesitate to stay again in same hotel

e' l'unico hotel a Messina degno di questo nome. Personale qualificato, all'altezza, tutti molto disponibili (ho potuto accedere alla camera alle 13 circa, non ci sono stati problemi a tenere il bagalio fino a sera). La camera era spaziosa e pulita, la colazione abbondante e di qualità. Un hotel classico e di qualità, comodo per chi arriva in treno/bus/nave e per visitare la città.

Soggiorno di due notti, in una delle camere dove sono probabilmente cominciate le operazioni di restyling. Non male, anzi. Comodo il garage (15 euro giorno) appena sul retro. Certo, il peso degli anni della struttura lo si comincia ad avvertire tutto, nei dettagli, ma nell'insieme è un 4 stelle che conserva in sè, positivamente, le principali caratteristiche della tradizione alberghiera: dalla reception con personale professionalmente preparato, a quello ai piani e in sala, tutti rigorosamente in divisa. Hall ampia e ben tenuta. Pulizia abbastanza curata nella camera e nel comodo bagno (visibilmente ristrutturato, seppure al 90%), con buoni prodotti "di cortesia". Assolutamente degna di nota la colazione, ricca nel salato e nel dolce, con anche gradevoli "aggiunte" regionali, come cassattine e granita al caffè con brioche.

Struttura storica con locali molto spaziosi, anche se datati sono tenuti bene (ad esempio l'ampia hall, come gli ascensori e i corridoi dei piani). La stanza era molto grande, con un ampio bagno di recente ristrutturazione. La colazione era varia, con chicche di cucina siciliana. Il prezzo è onesto. Il problema più grande è il sistema di climatizzazione: non è possibile controllarlo dalle stanze, ma solo la reception può intervenire. E' rumorosissimo e di notte è stato un forte disturbo. L'accoglienza è stata un po' fredda e laconica, avrei preferito ricevere qualche indicazione per la colazione, posteggio e turismo.
