Perfect location; fair price, good breakfast. Totally safe. However, Don't come to Mexico for coffee....there is a Starbucks on every corner for a good reason.

This is a very good hotel, located in a century-old store in the super city center, the waiter is very enthusiastic, I am a bucket, the waiter gave me three bottles of water, super satisfied... The hotel is clean and hygienic, breakfast is ordered according to the portion Yes... the waiter took special care of the use of my tableware, and it is very close to every historical district... Highly rated...

good! Location was great. Highly recommended if you are visiting Mexico City. However, the Wi-Fi was sometimes poor.

Good location and value for money. Friendly staff. Purified water available. Great view of the goings on in the streets from the french door windows. Classic Art Deco style. Survived all the earthquakes.

The Hotel Gillow is an attractive older building just 2 blocks from the Zocalo, an area generally full of tourists, and, on the weekend, locals. Its central location makes it ideal. Rooms are arranged around an interior courtyard of six floors, it’s gracious and really nice. My room was very clean and spacious, and I had clean towels and hot water (but no refrigerator). My bed was very comfortable (I like a firm mattress). Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included, freshly cooked, and it is great. The only problem, and it’s not something the hotel can really do much about, is constant noise from outside, it is relentless. I live in New York City, where we have noise, I am not being fussy. The rumble of truck engines, and all-day whistling by police at intersections, is inescapable even with windows tightly closed. It’s a building from a different era, and thoughtless noise pollution has grown around it. If you need quiet to sleep, or perhaps even to think clearly, this will be a problem for you, it was for me.

Great place safe to walk everywhere

Staff was great. The room was unpleasantly noisy until after late at night, however, we didn't even ask to move so that's our bad. We were unable to work the room fan; again, our problem that we didn't ask staff to check it our or change rooms. I guess we are slugs!

No ac. The room was hot. You had to open the balcony doors to let the cool air in (and all the street noise) middle of downtown and busy street so it was loud till 3am

The staff was nice but the room had bugs in it and torn curtains. Definitely needs to be updated. The linens are old and worn. Would not stay there again
