The Sofitel Hotel was a class act from the moment I arrived until I departed. It is well located for the reforma area for both walking and easily accessible for Uber pick-ups. The staff provide the upmost customer service and engagement. The front desk staff was fantastic. The first person I met was Maria Jose when I was checking in and she was so kind and very professional. Throughout my stay I dealt with members of the customer care team Mariel, Regina, Maria and Jane. They were absolutely engaging and provided tremendous customer service. Armando in the dining room as well as Monica and Kayukari in the spa provided exceptional service. I also want to thank Uriel with the downstairs doorman team. When I left, there was a function at the US Embassy and there was no access for Uber to pick me up in front of the building. I know this is no fault of the hotel but I was flustered because I didn’t know how to exit the hotel through the back entrance and obtain an Uber in the surrounding neighborhood and I had a pending flight. Uriel saw that I was perplexed he took complete charge of helping me. He was able to direct the Uber to a proper location, carried my luggage out into the neighborhood, and stayed with me until the Uber arrived. He spoke to the Uber driver to ensure that he knew where he was taking me at the airport and what terminal I should be taken to and he loaded my luggage into the car. I am personally very grateful to Uriel. This was very reassuring and appreciated. These were the employees that I had more extended contact with, but actually every employee I dealt with was truly amazing in representing the Sofitel brand and the general manager and the managerial team should be proud of the customer service provided and I highly recommend this hotel.
