Lovely food in a relaxed setting, as we stopping in for breakfast after a long flight and too early an arrival to head straight to our accommodation. Great service from Alejandra, Salvador & Carlos and a DELICIOUS omelette from Elena, who all spoke great English and taught us how to say omelette in Spanish (“omelette”)

Great location - connected to the airport - an easy walk. Property is a bit dated but the rooms were clean and service was decent.
Novotel Mexico City Centro Historico has the best location in Historic Mexico City, ensuring all the comfort for a quiet stay in Mexico City. The hotel has rooms ideal for business travelers and families, as well as being pet friendly. Enjoy a Mexican restaurant and a bar with signature cocktails. The hotel's structure includes a gym, meeting rooms for corporate events and a terrace over the Zócalo.

Stayed 7 nights with my partner at this wonderful hotel, which is centrally located (10 minute walk to the main Zocalo square with lots of shopping nearby) and has a very good bar/restaurant on-site. The rooms are new with firm beds, thick towels and linens, a hot shower, daily maid service, a medium-sized safe that can hold a tablet, good climate control, and a Nespresso coffee machine. A filtered water dispenser to refill water bottles is quite the advantage in the lobby. The gym on the 2nd floor is modern with very usable equipment, and is located next to an outdoor terrace. The breakfast buffet was very good with several choices. Antonio and Nayla provided excellent customer service during breakfast, and Antonio also alerted me to breakfast options that were healthier for my sensitive stomach. The lobby staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, I rate this hotel an 8 or 9 out of 10 and would definitely stay here again. That being said, I would like to offer some suggestions to Novotel to make the hotel room a bit better for travelers. This new, minimal hotel room concept means that there are no dresser drawers for storing clothing, and there’s only one spot in the hanging metal “closet” for storing one suitcase - the other person must put their suitcase on the floor . One must live out of their suitcase during the entire stay, which is very annoying. This can easily be remedied by having more hangers (10 instead of 5?) in the closet, and having one or two folding luggage racks available. Also, another side table is needed beside the bed, since there’s only one. The person sleeping on the left side of the bed must put their water, glasses, phone, etc. on the floor, since there’s no side table, or place their items far away on the desk. Also, the thick towels keep falling off the three very lame wooden towel “knobs”. These knobs need to be replaced or extended outward in order to be able to hold a load. I would hang up my wet towel and it would immediately fall onto the floor. We fought with this the entire week. The hotel would save a lot of money by not having to wash towels every day that have fallen onto the floor. Additionally, perhaps for an upcharge, a small refrigerator could be placed in the room. These minor issues did not affect our overall satisfaction of this hotel.

The hotel service environment and breakfast are good. It's just that the facilities are too poor, the washing machine and the soundproofing of the room are too poor. The sound of foreigners talking in the middle of the night makes me unable to sleep. It would be better if I go out and knock on the door.

I used my points for this stay however the rates including dynamic points rate were low making this hotel value for money or points in my case. Being a Diamond elite member i was upgrade to a suite was not expected but appreciated. Friendly staff making me feel welcome and the free breakfast has variety as well as changing one dish every day i was there. Love a good mexican breakfast. Location was a little out of the centre hence the reason not 5 stars however the bus is a one min walk and they leave every 2 mins if not less. expect it to be busy at times. if you dont mind being a little bit out of the way its a nice hotel for the amount you pay

Well thr hotel was great , it's accommodation are superb. But one thing that srsnd out was Enrique and Juan from morning breakfast , they were always on point. Continously asking if anything else needed. And they booth had a smile face on them. Son el tipo de personas que cualquier empresa necesitas y debe tener. Por que ? Xq representa armonia, disiplina y radican Paz alreddedor. My Congratulations to Novotel and its administration for having Enrique and Juan from Delia bistro on board. Much success to both. 🙏

Lovely room, delightful hotel and gracious staff. However, the booking process was difficult, and the communication with the front desk confusing. We got three versions of confirmed dates (the last one correct) did not get clarification as to whether our room included breakfast. When we arrived, we were given different responses to our question about whether breakfast was included on three occasions. We are fine with paying extra, but would have liked to have know whether to eat in or elsewhere. The restaurant was a weak spot with slow service, and no red wines available by the glass on our second visit. The waitperson said it was due to Xmas, but it seems quite surprising for this level of hotel to run out of red wine options four days after the holiday. Overall, we enjoyed the hotel, the location and the rooftop brunch on our last day were great. Please work on your service and communication to guests

This place gets a no from me. Principally, it's because we were awoken at 7A to smoke filling the room. I went out to the living area and proceeded to have a panic attack because I couldn't breathe. For the record, the hallways were much better. I rushed downstairs and stayed outside until the front desk could send someone up to do something to make it better. Definitely not a relaxing experience. Now, the hotel would say, we left a piece of paper on the check-in counter for you explaining this would happen. Yes, you did, but this is unacceptable all the same. Some folks will have asthma or other breathing issues and this could be potentially very serious for them to deal with. I happened to have a cold. Giving notice on check-in isn't enough notice. In addition, most of the lights were that bright white light I hate because it reminds me of hospitals. Plus, certain window areas were filled with dust. Ick. Just not a good hotel experience. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, the room service prompt, and the breakfast downstairs was fine so two stars.

This hotel is based within close proximity to a train station, multiple food locations, and convenience stores. When booking this hotel, it was specifically chosen due to being part of the Accor hotel family. As a gold member, I have come to expect the kind, friendly and welcoming staff at their hotels. Typically, as a gold member, I am welcomed with a personal welcome note, a free drink voucher, and a thank-you gift. Here? Nothing; in fact, there were absolutely no frills included in this hotel (including bathroom toiletries). The king-size bed was comfy, and the pillows provided were also comfortable. There was a stained pullout couch along one wall. Right at the room's entrance was a glass squared box containing the shower and toilet, and opposite the box was the hand basin and mirror. The shower door didn't close completely - which allowed all the water into the bathroom, but not to worry because you are provided with a bathmat. Be careful in the bathroom not to wear socks, though, because standing on the flooring allows water up through the floorboards. Need to dry your hands after using the sink? Oh well, no hand towels are provided, so you can pleasantly enjoy using your wet towels. The hotel breakfast provided ”continental” is extremely dissatisfying and disappointing. From the limited seating to the cold pasta, squishy watermelon and unripe pineapple. At no fault of the hotels, though, one of our phones was stolen; we sought assistance from the reception staff, who directed us to stand outside the hotel and just wait for the police to turn up. The next day, we asked for again, and eventually, the hotel staff pointed us down the road to the police station. However, disappointingly, this is not where tourists are meant to go. Tourists are intended to contact the Tourist Police, who are able to assist visitors. Whilst this is not the hotel staff's fault - I think it would be essential for hotel staff to know about the tourist policy - especially since your fundamental business is tourism. On the final night of our stay the air conditioner stopped working - I spoke to reception, and they kindly allowed us to sleep in another room, and leave our stuff in the original room as we were leaving early. Overall, would I stay in this hotel again? No.

FFraserThis is my 4th time at the hotel and by far the worst. The room was far lower quality than my last 3 stays. Would probably not stay again based on this. The price for what I got was extremely disappointing when usually it’s fantastic
HHussain Ismail from LondonReally nice hotel with people that are really friendly. Clean, smells really, and serviced really well. The desk staff were really friendly and helpful. Rocío cleaned and looked after my room really well! Thanks Rocio.
The Spa and gym was amazing - especially the staff who were really helpful and kind. The trainer Ariel was really helpful showing me various training routines and ways for thinking about exercise - he is an expert in Judo (black belt!). Alexis was really helpful with the spa facilities. Thanks Ariel and Alexis!
The beauty salon run by Azul was really good and especially with the treatments she offers! She convinced me to start looking after the smaller things about my appearance. It is the people that make a place and in this case in Hotel Marquis Reforma. I will definitely go back. Thanks Azul!
Thanks Hotel Marquis Reforma! See you soon.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very nice location, a couple of blocks from Avenida Paseo de la Reforma. The room was very clean and there was a walk-in shower in the bathroom. A nice ce upgrade would be to have USB ports by the nightstand.
My issue is with Trip.com. I paid in advance for 3 rooms- one for me and one each for two friends. When I booked the rooms, I listed each of us separately on the online form. I received my confirmation by email and assumed that so did my friends. When we arrived at the hotel, I checked in without issue but when my friends tried to, they were told that no reservation existed for them. This is despite the fact that I had paid by credit card for all three rooms on one transaction. A call to Trips.com did nothing to fix the situation. The reservation number I gave them only had my room listed.
My only option now is to dispute the charge once my credit card statement arrives.
This was a surprisingly practical and quaint boutique hotel in Polanco. It is conveniently located across the street from major high-end hotels such as the W Mexico City, which are outrageously priced. The hotel is really an old villa that was converted to a boutique hotel. The rooms are tiny and basic. Essentially a bedroom with a small bathroom and shower areas. The room was surprisingly cold at night. Breakfast was self-serve. Complimentary bottle of gin in the room. This is a budget alternative to the major hotels in the area. Security at entrance of the property and gated. I would return.
费费兰登阿历克斯The price/performance ratio is absolutely high. If you bring breakfast and we don’t understand Spanish, it’s best to look at the breakfast ordered by other guests. If you order a breakfast you like, you will feel happy
GGuest UserWhile this hotel was aesthetically pleasing and in a good location for relatively easy access to many tourist spots, the amenities, service, and operation was absolutely horrible! The language barrier was also very challenging and one would think for this to be such a hot spot that they would have staff fluent in English for tourists. I was told that the hotel had english-speaking concierge that would be able to guide me with questions on transportation, etc. and that was not the case. Day 1: - Language barrier made check-in unnecessarily challenging - Language barrier made the ability to assist us with our desired tours impossible, thankfully we had a backup plan and had gathered information for ourselves - Bikes as advertised were not available AT ALL, at no time during our stay and per guests that had arrived a week prior the bikes had not been available (out for repairs & unavailable the entire stay)...this was the method of transportation we had planned on using AND had supposedly reserved for the afternoon of our arrival, thus causing us to have to change plans - My 1st evening in the room the air conditioning was not working and my room was SCORCHING! I was calling every 1 - 1.5 hrs asking for assistance, and even though they are able to control it remotely they could not get it working....I was only able to rest approx. 3 hrs and woke up congested and with a migraine. The young woman at the front desk did everything that she could to communicate the issue and actually did apologize that I was ill, however was not successful in her attempts to reach 'The Manager' as she said that 'the manager' would not return calls made in attempt to speak with me - this ultimately made me late for our tour/lunch reservation due to attempts to handle the situation. Upon return for the afternoon I was told that the A/C was fixed. Upon arriving in the room I found it to be freezing cold and attempted to turn the unit off, the front desk staff KEPT turning it back on, even after attempts to help them understand that the temperature was still not being controlled within the room, thus I was probably able to get 4-5 hrs of sleep and my cold/congestion got worse.....and they said there was no room available to move me to All that said, I have my complaint into the booking agency and hotel corp office, but am writing this review to warn anyone contemplating their stay at City Centro Ciudad de Mexico
WWhiteMouseBurrowWe stayed at the hotel for one night, right after the hard first day in Mexico. We are very tired because examined the capital immediately after a long flight ... There were no special impressions about the hotel, everything was quite satisfactory. The room is comfortable, we had a good rest. The restaurant offered us both European and Mexican cuisine, it is quite possible to relax after a hard day.
Aarchi79Excellent service and food, with what is necessary and always very clean. Recommended for good cost/benefit. Location is not the best, but serves very well for mobiliz**** tourism inside and outside the city.
