Algarve Race Resort - Apartments

Excellent location for a go-karting or racetrack experience. The scenery is very pleasant. The apartments are far from the main building, which makes it inconvenient for guests who want to use the available services. The apartment furniture is unappealing, cold, and not at all cozy during the mid-low season. Air conditioning is only available in the bedrooms.

Spacious and very clean apartment (lacking maintenance, loose door handle, terrace column in poor condition and water in the sink didn't drain), quiet location at night, a car is necessary as it is about 20km from Portimao, free parking in front of the accommodation, negative: the apartment's pool is in very bad condition completely neglected (loose tiles, loose wood, lack of cleaning), the good thing is that you can use the hotel pool (you have to walk a bit).

Very good service. We loved this place, unfortunately the indoor pool was closed. The space was clean, and the lady came every day to clean it. It's located a little far from the city center, about 20 minutes away, but for those who like peace and quiet, it's an excellent place. The entire staff was polite, we hope to return 🥰

The aparthotel offers good conditions for family holidays and is located next to the Algarve racetrack. It is far from the beaches and the center of Portimão. You should have your own car for travel. Great for enjoying the serenity and nature surrounding the hotel.

My stay at the Algarve Race Resort was a mixed experience that I'd like to share. Cons: - Air conditioning: There is no air conditioning in the living room, which can be uncomfortable on hot days, as it is only available in the bedroom. - Kitchen utensils: There are not enough kitchen utensils, making meal preparation difficult. - Cleaning products: Dishwashing products are lacking, which is a drawback for maintaining cleanliness. - Beds: The beds are quite old and uncomfortable, which affects the quality of sleep. - Bathroom: The bathroom is old and needs renovation. Common areas: The common areas of the apartments are very dirty and unkempt, which gives a bad impression. - Reception: The reception is too far from the apartments, which can be inconvenient if you need assistance. - First aid kit: I was stung by several bees in the pool, and there was no first aid kit available. - Spa: To enter the spa, you are required to purchase a swimming cap from the hotel, which seems unnecessary. - Sun loungers: There are not enough sun loungers by the pool, which can be a problem during high season. In short, the Algarve Race Resort has potential due to its space and the beauty of the pool, but it needs to improve in several areas, especially in the cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities.

The apartment had some signs of wear and tear, such as the leather bed frame that bounced around a lot. The curtains in the master suite had minor soiling, and some areas of the silicone sealant in the shower had black spots.

I really like this hotel. It's ideal for those looking to relax, as it's secluded. The service is good, as is the food. It's a shame the indoor pool was being renovated during my stay. This is my third year in a row, and I've already noticed some wear and tear on the apartments, and I think the pool itself is neglected, which is a shame given its potential.
