Travelodge Ipswich Stowmarket

We booked a family room & they advised they only had doubles left, in the end it was sorted but wasn’t a great process.

Very clean inside the hotel though looks a little rough outside, this is due to the boarded up restaurant and the car park being used by neighbouring businesses. Very quiet though and had a very good nights sleep

brilliant service by Nicole at the reception was very friendly and helpful, I was slightly early on arrival but I was still welcomed with a lovely manner, wasn't told I'd have to wait around. great polite staff would definitely recommend a visit great room rates

Excellent clean functional place to stay. Welcoming staff and very convenient for A14. Pleasant outlook at back.

Hotel is lovely and clean nothing to complain about check in was extremely fast and welcoming. I believe Jude was on the night shift at the time and I had a nice conversation with him and he provided whatever was needed. Highly recommend this hotel

In need of some tlc as it felt like I had stepped back to the early 2005 hotel. It was clean and did the job not sure if I’d go back again. As when entering the room it smelt like a hospital ward very strange smell

Very basic, if you can go somewhere else do so, lots of cig ends outside building, no food facilities, breakfast boxes 'rationed'

Although the Travelodge looked unimpressive from the outside it was very clean and well maintained. Despite being so close to the A14 it was also quite. Special mention must be made of David the receptionist who was very friendly and informative.

The hotel was extremely dirty, moldy and not looked after. Gutter was blocked so all you could here was over flow water all night. We struggled to park to due to next door business parking everywhere and vans taking up all road and spaces. The room had a leaky toilet, mold and surfaces we're not clean. Bedding smelt of sweat and everything was grummy 😓 people we walking up and down all night. over all not a pleasant visit
