Basic motel, clean linens. Walls, door nobs very dirty, like never been cleaned. A few roudy people at the back drinking at a patio table off the parking lot. Dingy. Was cheap, but should be cheaper. Need serious cleaning done in the rooms and the stairs, handle bars.

A basic motel, looks a bit worn on the outside, but our room was nice and clean, warm and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. Front desk young man was very kind and helpful. Out microwave did not work and he replaced it with what looked like a new one in only a few minutes. Good WiFi. Good size bathroom. TV worked just fine - about a 40” I think. Overall, quite happy with the 3 nights we spent there. Again, the polite young man at reception could not have been nicer. Very welcoming. Good value.

My stay at Silver Star Motel was amazing, the pricing is manageable/affordable for friends and family. The Motel is in a great location only a few blocks away from the downtown core for those who want to shop or the dining out experience. The rooms are newly renovated, large in size, the beds are comfy and extremely clean. As a plus the staff a helpful and friendly!

The motel's biggest advantage is its location. It is close to the very picturesque and hidden gem of Little Lake Park which has a long beach, playground, and garden. It has several eating locations including Pizza Hut, McDonald's, Dairy Queen, and Tim Hortons next door. This suits those with young kids. The owners are extremely warm and friendly. The rooms are newly renovated, clean, and comfortable. The owners are highly responsive and customer oriented. It is great value for the price.
