Ambience is good nice beds all the supplies are good. Nice complimentary breakfast. The woman Justina helped us in having my breakfast first as I don't know anything. It's really good in the hotel with the first landing of mine. I was a little worried with my first visit

Old but clean, except for dirty corners of our bathroom. Good hot breakfast. Very comfortable beds. Room has microwave, small fridge, coffee maker. But lacking other basic needs… No lotion. No full length mirror for getting dressed. Hand sanitizer stand near elevator empty.

Booked through Marriott.com. Arrived at the hotel to find my reservation had been cancelled, with no notification from the hotel (no calls, no emails, etc). Hotel offered higher rate at another property they owned. Can't comment on the property itself, but would offer that the management of the property was unprofessional.

Pluses: Comfortable beds, across the street from food options—Outback, Cotton Patch Cafe and Sapporo Japanese restaurant, a very good shower, clean! The negatives: Noisy at night (looked like a lot of high school football team folks stay here), front desk coverage is spotty and it took several tries to get them to print boarding passes, the price of water for the smallest 16 Oz water bottle is more expensive than any hotel I’ve stayed in and even beats the airport price! $3.00 per bottle—better to pick up water at the airport on the way—bigger bottles(20 Oz) for $2.50 at the airport. Even cheaper at convenience stores. Breakfast is also spotty…the first day great—cheese omelettes, bacon sausage, cereals, waffles, yogurt, bagels-great—day 2 was ok-they ran out of milk so cereals were not an option, day three—they could have gone over to a grocery store to pick up milk but didn’t. They had no milk again and had also run out of yogurt…no egg dish available just a sausage biscuit, no cereal options as there was no milk…if breakfast is not a concern for you there were still bagels and fruit options. Finally just a note: the pool smells very strongly of chlorine including the hallway on the first floor and lots of kids are swimming in the pool. Thus if you are a family, the kids should be easily entertained but If you think the pool will be good for quiet swims for adults, you may find the chlorine smell overwhelming and may have to try to schedule swims early or later when the kids are in bed.

My husband and I stayed at Fairfield Inn in Midland recently. It was our first visit to Midland and we picked the hotel based on location. Overall, it served our needs. The rooms were clean. I like to swim and the availability of an indoor pool was a draw. The pool was advertised as heated but the water temp was about 75 - a bit chilly for me and I noticed disappointing families with young kids. Almost no one was in the water. Any attempt to ask for warmer pool temperatures was met with blank stares and silence. Breakfast was ok - I am gluten intolerant so there were just few options for me. Those with few issues would be pleased. Staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming.
