Nice and cute hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are clean, cute and have a nice fresh modern beachy athmospere. The room has nice details like bathrobes, bathslippers, mandala drawing set to relax, lovely minibar, free welcoming water bottle, showergels and many more. The room we had was small, but I still really enjoyed it. We spend out last night in another room and that one was more spacious, so that’s just luck. Unfortunately there was one thing bothering us and that was the bad WiFi connection. First room was okay but the second was not even connecting at all. So that’s really a thing. I’ve seen this in some other reviews from the hotel also. The spa is not big, but just enough to relax a little bit. Looks great and clean. The restaurant attached to it is a very nice one. Very kind and helpfull staff. We got the fish and chips by recommandation of the waiter and that was just amazing. Made with DAILY fresh catched fish and well priced for that kind of quality. As they buy the fish fresh everyday you have the chance it’s sold out because they ran out of fish. Also the chicken croquettes from the snack menu were amazing. It has a kind of indian curry flavour.

I love this hotel, so forgive me if my review is a bit gushing! And sorry for the length too! Everything about this place is good, but it's the staff who really make it stand out. Every single person we encountered, from bar and restaurant staff to cleaning and maintenance people, was friendly and helpful. Food: breakfast is an all you canneat buffet and has a wide variety. Most of the guests are German so you can expect a good selection of cold meats (the local cameiot is my favourite) and cheeses, and lots of different types of bread. Also plenty of fresh fruit (including the best oranges I've ever eaten), typical cooked breakfast with deliciously crispy bacon, an omelet station where they will make you an omelet to order, a couple of types of cereal. The cooked breakfast had a couple of surprises .. brussels sprouts one day, churros the next. Coffee is from a machine, and if you hunt you'll find the one which does decaff. Dinner is a multi-course affair. First is the extensive salad buffet, next you choose from 2 soups (one hot and one cold .. don't miss the salmorejo), then you choose from.a couple of starters, then your choice of main, and finish with dessert buffet. No coffee. Our room (108) had a balcony with a sea view .. I think all the rooms probably do face the sea. Very clean and comfortable. Occasional water pressure issues to be expected in such a dry place. Pod coffee machine in the room, pods (aka capsules) from reception at €1 each. Safe in the room was free. Fridge in the room too. Pool always immaculate and warm. Good poolside shower was very welcome too. Thick towels available from reception for a deposit (which they take off your final bill). We actually spent more time at the beach than the pool .. sandy beaches a short walk away. Some have quite a thick click of black sea**** at the ahoreline ... just move on to the next bit of beach for clear turquoise water which is seawees free. Beware a few rocks under the sandy floor .. you can see them through the clear water so make sure you pay attention and dont stub your toe! They are environmentally conscious with a refillable glass caraf in the room for filling from the chiller in reception, also refillable glass water bottles for €3.50 in the restaurant (you don't get to keep the bottle .. that's extra. And you can't bring your own water to the restaurant). They change neither bedding nor towels unless you signal that you want them to.

I must admit that writing negative service statements is probably the least funny things I could imagine during my own vacation. But, my latest experience, even before arrival at the Marriot Vacation club, was so annoying that I cannot resist doing it. I am not sure how bad this review would have been if I was not enjoying a fantastic private pool with the family in another location while writing my comment. We are owner at the MVC Son Antem since a couple of years and do hold Platinum Elite status (after titanium for some years) of the Bonvoy Programme. We requested a paid upgrade from a 2 bedroom villa to a three bedroom villa. We were sent from MVC Reception and hotline to the resort check in reception. After directly approaching our MVC seller, our request was again sent to the resort reception. It was obvious that the coordination between the two parties was lacking. Even worse: after our complaint we were sent an e-mail confirming that there was no capacity. Further, we were told that the request should have been handled by MVC. But, as a matter of politeness he answered our mail. Then, we called the hotel and asked if there was a chance to enter the villa a bit earlier than 4 pm. This was the worst call I could think of. We were lectured in the worst tone ever that check in was 4 pm. After telling that we as platinum elite member would appreciate if he could at least check availability, sine we also do not request late check out, he within a second confirmed no availability and that check out time is 10 am. No matter what status AND: he really hung up on me!!!! I called again and this guy really told me I was the one hanging up or the line might have broke. Absolutely incredible. At this location I do not even feel honored as a guest, not to think of being welcomed back as a loyal Bonvoy Member. I am sure we’ll will enjoy our vacation, but surely not expecting any kind of service quality. We have used several locations at MVC already, all good so far. I hope it was just bad luck, but seems more like structural issues. Thomas

ok so we booked this 2 star hotel with some holiday compensation we got for a flight delay so were not expecting great things,i was surprised on arrival at many things, the place is really clean, the rooms were very clean the bathroom recently refurbed, there is hairdryer and shampoo and handwash supplied, fresh towels and bed made daily, breakfast is 6 euros, theres plenty cereals breads, cold meats fruit, toast eggs bacon etc etc a really good price for all they have on offer, there are vending machines with snacks and a lovely pool bar with several large comfy sofas, 2 euros for a can of cola which is cheaper than the local shop, they have an iron you can borrow( no charge) there is a very clean shower room for when you have to check out of your room, the staff couldnt be any more helpful, the pool gets the sun from about 1pm but it wasnt too cold before this time, there are only about 7 sunbeds but the pool was never busy, there are tables and chairs round pool area and some rattan furniture also so plenty of seating options, theres a supermarket a few meters along the road for supplies, theres great air con in the rooms but this heats your balcony area up greatly making it not great to sit out on if the other person is inside with the air con on, the only thing that i personally think could improve your stay would be a small fridge in the room for drinks, the hotel caters mainly for dutch and germans,we were the only brits, and it does have a younger clientel but there was no niose, no rowdy behaviour in the time we were there, so all in all a very ncie surprise given how cheap the place was,

Didn’t go for the food package so would have been nice to have some sort of tea and coffee making facilities and possibly a small fridge already in the room. I did notice a poster at reception for a fridge with €40. Not sure if this is a deposit or a charge. Location is good with access to both EMT and TIB busses, EMT is cash only and TIB allows you to tap on and off with a regular bank card. Prepare for your bathroom to become a slippy wet room, as the cleaners never replace wet towels or floor mats. The shower quickly overflows. Also to fit on the toilet the right way you’d have to be 4”2 so you have to sit on it sideways as the wall is right in front of it.

Everything was great. Very good value for money, the hotel looks modern but has become a little run down due to the number of holidaymakers. Right on the promenade. The Skybar is more than reasonable in terms of price and offers a wonderful view of the beach in Mallorca.

Best hotel around with the best staff too. Words cannot express how much we loved our stay here. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and cleaned/maintained to such a high level. The pool area is superb and we spent some wonderful afternoons lazing on the loungers. The breakfast is great, the fresh omelettes are great and service was so attentive. This is our second visit and we would love to return again, thank you to everyone that made our stay so great. Location is arguably and remarkably this hotels strongest point, perfectly placed for a night in the marina or the main town of Cala dor, absolutely could not be better with a great oasis to return to after.

Very Good
MMatthew GWe have just returned after staying at the Vistamar for a week B&B. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location and the view you get of the harbour when you’re having your brekky is as good as it gets. 2 lovely pools one having a bar where you can get drinks and snacks. Great little gym if you want to get a sweat on and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but they are cleaned every day and towels swopped every other, we also got a beautiful view of the bay to wake up to. Breakfast is buffet style with everything you could want, fresh fruit, bread, cheese, bacon, all the usual brekky stuff. What more can you want from a hotel, it’s lovely. You’ve chosen to stay in a large hotel with many other guests, it won’t be silent, if that’s what you want or need, rent a villa. We will defo be back, thanks for an amazing holiday.

Let me put it this way. You would be better off committing a crime, getting arrested and spending night in jail being bummed by some large dude than spending a night at this hellhole. Who needs this amount of bleach to clean the room? What happened here before I got in? Shower had no cold water so either you dont shower or shower by slowly cooking under 10000 degree water. Staying on 3rd floor doeant mean you dont hear people talking and having a good time in the bar on ground floor. Room window doesn't close so its constantly 10 degrees in your room at night. And you hear everything happening in the street below. Want a remote control for your tv? That's €10. And breakfast is a fee slices of salami, bread and some unknown cereal.

Ooo221The morning breakfast is varied. Ipanema Beach Hotel and Ipanema Park Hotel use the same restaurant. I made a reservation at the Ipanema Beach Hotel, but they told me to go to Ipanema Park. However, there is only one check-in staff member, and check-in begins promptly at 2 o'clock. It took an hour and 20 minutes to check in. The hotel swimming pool is nice. I was embarrassed because the rooms were not soundproofed and the guests came as a group and it was really noisy.

My partner and I have just returned to London after a weeks stay in Hotel Costa Mediterraneo. We had a lovely holiday on a budget. One thing we could not fault was the cleanliness. Wherever you went it smelt of nice clean soap and the bed linen/towels were fresh. Check in was quick, we arrived around 2am and had to pay the usual tourism tax, which being a 2 star hotel, it wasn’t very much at all. It obviously has been recently renovated, yes the further you go up the stairs the older the flooring becomes but come on- who goes on holiday to moan about old floors? I really didn’t mind our room, the bed was big and super comfortable, even a third bed which we used as clothes storage! Freshly painted walls and very clean. The wardrobe was nice and new with 10 hangers and there was a safe too but we did not use. The bathroom was basic but we had no problems with water temperature and enjoyed our daily showers. This hotel gave me Travelodge vibes. So, now the things we think could definitely be improved upon to gain more clientele. I really think as a hotel you need to listen to the reviews about noise and come up with a solution. It was the only thing to be honest that made us slightly unhappy with our stay! We had room 408 which was right next to the elevator and it kept me awake most nights… you could hear it going up and down, people’s conversations, and the lift door being smashed against the walls when people open it. Breakfast was raised to 9 euros during our stay, we tried it once, arriving at 9:15am. What was left of the baguette was not enough for two people and didn’t get replenished but the scrambled eggs and bacon did. I don’t think it was worth 9 euros but it was nice to enjoy the “hotel experience” and the food was nice! We thought there was a drainage problem as every morning when we flushed the loo a smell of rotten eggs filled the bathroom for around 30 mins- 1 hour. And lastly, the TV situation! I asked reception if there was any English channels as we couldn’t find any and they said there was 2 or 3 but alas we couldn’t find anything. The TV itself is super small and placed on the wall far away so if you’re blind like me it’s a little tricky!

Family-run hotel with a modern design, the rooms are well furnished as are the bathrooms. The problem lies in the dirt. We were informed that cleaning takes place every two days, and that's okay, but the sheets found stained upon our arrival were not replaced with the cleaning of the room but only the bed was made. Dust everywhere, even on the bedside tables, residues of disposable soap samples in the shower dating back to the previous guest, shower head with prehistoric limestone residues, minibar (which doesn't cool) with a sort of mold/liquid inside that has been around for who knows how long time was there. A real shame also because the hotel has a good location, strategic for reaching various destinations on the island. Given the hygienic conditions, unfortunately I can't help but advise against the stay.

SSam TCurrently here with my husband and my parents for 10 nights. We booked it last minute for a cheap sun holiday and it’s our first trip to Majorca after many trips to Menorca. I’d read the reviews and for the money we paid was expecting it to be an average and have been pleasantly surprised. As people have said yes it needs a revamp but it’s spotlessly clean and well managed and is far better than some other more expensive hotels we’ve stayed in. A clean room with a comfy bed is all I need and it is plus it’s spacious with a nice terrace and a handy fridge. Stayed on top floor in 805. Wrist bands double as room key which is genius. Pool is nice and clean and lounger are comfy. Towels can be rented as we forgot ours but I got some up the road for 4 euros. Location is superb right in the middle of shops, bars and restaurants and 5 minutes to beaches and marina. I’m not.a fussy eater and found the food to be standard AI and fine. Always had fish meat pasta chips rice salad. Breakfast was standard not sure what people are expecting for the money but it’s all hot and topped up regularly and the restaurant staff like all the hotel staff work extremely hard at what they do and the restaurant operates like clockwork. Beer Cruz Campo and wine on tap which cuts out all the queues but the cocktails were rubbish and premixed and the spirits weren’t great either. Deposits needed for plastic cups and plates for round pool. We didn’t fancy the pool food so didn’t need these and we got 1 euro plastic cups from the Spar round the corner which held more but you still need the hotel small glass for cocktails and spirits. To sum up it was good for what we paid it was well managed and clean and a good introduction to Majorca, thanks Gavimar.

Had a short 5 day break with my 75 year old Dad last week. Cannot fault this hotel. Spotlessly clean. The rooms are cleaned everyday, beds made and towels replaced. The pools are fantastic and lots of available sunbeds. I cannot understand how anyone can complain about the food. Breakfast , lunch and Dinner all have lots of options... mussels, prawns, paella, several fish dishes and several meat dishes as well as lots of lovely salads and fantastic array of deserts presented beautifully. The staff work tirelessly and we had a fantastic time. Also the stunning beach is only 2 mins walk.

I was really worried after booking because I looked at previous reviews but honestly this hotel was perfectly fine. If you're expecting the Ritz then you will be disappointed, but the price we paid for all inclusive seemed cheap and that's what we expected. If you're the sort of person who wants to stay in the hotel all day then it wouldn't work for you, but if you go out exploring (like we did) you should find it satisfactory. So, drinks - cocktails on the roof were lovely and cheaper than anywhere else, you just need to check timings for when it's open (I didn't see the issue). You don't get loads of alcohol - 3beers/wine each with meals but any other drinks in the day from the pool bar downstairs or inside at night (this seemed fine). The pool bar asks for a euro for the cup and then return it when you bring the cup back, I don't see a problem with this...you get the euro back. Food - I was really worried about this but again, it was fine. It wasn't fine dining but the food was edible. Breakfast I thought was great - mainly continental with meats, cheeses and pastries but also ”Full English” style with sausage, bacon, toasts, beans and eggs. There was also cereals and various milks available. I thought there was plenty at breakfast even for vegetarians! Lunch was also adequate - salads, bread, fresh fruit and a few dishes on the buffet. Of all the meals I would say that dinner was the most disappointing. It was salads again which is fine and then a selection of shellfish each night, and then meats, plain pasta which you added sauces to, chips, rice, bread rolls and paella every night. It was basically the same dishes each night and not a large selection for vegetarians ( which is obviously a personal choice) but I think dinner could have been better. The room was clean, beds were super comfy (you get two twins and not a double). It was dated but it's a 3 star hotel so I wasn't expecting more than a nice bed. We were lucky to get a balcony with a nice view. The door handles are a bit dodgy and you have to learn how to turn them to lock the door, but that wasn't an issue. Once locked it's secure. We didn't use the TV so didn't need to rent a remote. We had AC that worked when you fiddled with the thermostat. It turns off if you open the sliding doors, which makes sense! The staff seemed happy to help when asked, smiled if I smiled, I didn't find anyone particularly enjoying their job but also didn't find any staff rude at all! It's a walk down a hill to the beach, which night be an issue for some but we enjoyed walking up and down to the seafront in between meals and excursions. You get your steps in! We didn't use the pool, it is small and usually had people in it but I am not a person who goes abroad to sit by a swimming pool anyway so we weren't bothered. Over all I think the food was fine considering it was included, if we wanted to save money we ate at the hotel and if we wanted a treat we went to a restaurant. There is a pizza pla
